LOVE Island fans claim they have worked out the “real” reason why Ron quit All Stars – and it’s NOT because he didn’t find love
Last night Ron, 27, shocked fans when he decided he’d had enough of villa life, declaring he “couldn’t find a connection”.
Last night viewers watched as Ron pulled the gang to the firepit to reveal he wanted to go home.
“I know we’ve just lost Scott [who quit the villa on Sunday], and I know it’s s**t, but it is my time,” he told everyone.
“There’s only so much that I can do, sitting in the sun, just sort of staring at the door for the right person.
“I just don’t know whether that right person is going to come in for me so I am going to go tonight.”
Ron previously told the boys of the decision: “My time is done… I think, not having a couple, not having, like that strong connection with anyone, I’m a very logical person.”
“It’s like, what chance is that right person gonna walk through the door? I want to leave on a happy note.”
However, some fans aren’t buying this as the reason he wanted to leave.
They now have a theory that he knew Samie Elishi was set to head into the villa as a bombshell.
The pair famously didn’t get on, when they both appeared on Winter Love Island back in 2023.
Taking to a social media forum, one fan wrote: “Ron probably left because he knew Samie was coming in.
“She was vile to him towards the end of their series.”
While another agreed: “Don’t know if he knew she was coming in but yes you’re right, Sammie pretty much isolated Ron towards the end of that series, it was uncomfortable viewing.”
Meanwhile, immediately after Ron announced he was leaving on last night’s All Stars, his ex-girlfriend Lana Jenkins appeared to take a swipe at him.
It came after she shared a picture of herself enjoying a drink in the bar.
In the caption, she simply wrote: “The Bar” alongside an emoji chart rising off the page, and a winky face.
Fans quickly commented that it appeared to be a swipe at Ron, with her “setting the bar high” for him when he returned to All Stars.
“Another Ron dig?? ,” wrote one fan, prompting another to respond: “he literally stated his bar is high, she was how high the bar was set at.. it’s the truth far from a dig
”
“What a indirect” laughed another, while a fourth said: “Well that’s not Cryptic! ;)”
During his first time in the villa, Ron found himself in demand – first coupling up with Lana before he was “stolen” in a recoupling by Tanyel Revan.
He remained with Tanyel for the next couple of weeks, but ultimately returned to Lana, with the pair making it to the final together.
The pair were runners up of the Winter 2023 series, with Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan – who are now engaged to be married – taking home the win.
However, Lana and Ron split three months later, with Ron later commenting that he didn’t enjoy a relationship in the public eye as it “ruined it”.
He told The Sun at the time: “The world is a bit nuts, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, and if it was in another world it might have worked.”
Ahead of entering All Stars, Ron said he would flat out quit if she walked in as a bombshell, saying he couldn’t watch her crack on with other men in front of him.
Love Island All Stars is back on TV for season 2.
Here we take you through the line-up of all the Islanders who are in the villa so far.
Bombshells
Each series brings with it a string of hot single bombshells making their epic entrance into the villa.
Here’s who has joined the villa so far:
PGA Tour veteran Charley Hoffman has expressed his frustration with a number of elite level golfers in an open letter to the membership.
In the letter to PGA Tour members, Hoffman shared his disappointment at an apparent lack of commitment to the US-based circuit by some of the tour’s players.
The letter, shared by Golf.com’s Sean Zak, addresses pace of play, the effectiveness of the Aon Swing 5 initiative, and a perceived lack of commitment from some players to the Tour’s core events.
Hoffman’s criticised individuals who, while advocating for fewer tournaments, still manage to play in non-PGA Tour events such as the TGL or the DP World Tour’s Race to Dubai.
He stated” “If we truly care about strengthening our Tour, we should be supporting as many PGA Tour events as we can.
“Many of you keep saying you want to play fewer events, yet you still find time for TGL, Race to Dubai, and other non-PGA Tour events, and that’s going to continue regardless of field size.
Just last week, AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am winner Rory McIlory called for fewer events on the PGA Tour’s rota.
Six-time Race to Dubai winner reckons the PGA Tour has been diminished due to the number of events on the schedule.
He also believes the game is oversaturated for the consumer before calling for an NFL-style, shorter season.
He said in 2023 that he played too few events before upping his schedule last year.
He said: “I think it [the tour] already has been diminished.
“I think there’s space for all of this.
“Yeah, I can see when the golf consumer might get a little fatigued of everything that’s sort of available to them.
“So to scale it back a little bit and maybe have a little more scarcity in some of the stuff that we do, like the NFL, I think mightn’t be a bad thing.
“But look, I would much rather sit down and watch real golfers play real tournaments and that’s just my opinion.
“That to me is more entertaining. But I understand that other people want something different and that’s totally fine as well.”
The Northern Irishman’s comments may be perceived as contradictory by some after the launch of the simulator TGL league in January.
Four-time major winner McIlroy is one of the founders, alongside golf legend Tiger Woods.
Hoffman also questioned the recent emergence of Signature events, and closed off fields in recent years on the tour.
He added: “The best competition happens when the best players go head-to-head in a deep, competitive field — not in small, limited-entry events that leave deserving players on the outside looking in.
“This Tour was built on open competition, where anyone with the game to compete has a chance to prove it against the best.
“That’s what has made our Tour special for generations, and we need to keep pushing for that.
“At the end of the year, only 100 of us will keep our cards. We all start the season at zero in the FedEx Cup Point standings, and every single one of us has the chance to be the FedEx Cup champion.
“Let’s come together, put on a great show for our fans by giving them the strongest competitions, and keep the PGA Tour moving in the right direction.”
KYM Marsh has revealed her ‘real name’ and why she changed it before fame.
Chatting to EastEnders star Michael Greco, who played Beppe di Marco between 1998 and 2002, Kym has shared several secrets from her time in Coronation Street.
Appearing on Suffolk Sound Michael is covering Chloe Rivers’ radio show – Through the Morning with Chloe Rivers – for two weeks.
It was his debut show today and his first phone guest was Kym Marsh.
Revealing her “real name”, Kym said: “I was Kimberly with an I from birth, but I changed my name as I decided it was really boring.
“I changed it to Kym with a ‘y’ because I thought it was really cool.
“It took my Dad about 10 years to start writing my name with a y!”
She also dished on behind-the-scenes secrets of Coronation Street.
Kym played the role of Michelle Connor on the hit ITV soap from 2006 to 2019.
“I was only supposed to be in Coronation Street for four episodes, I didn’t even have a surname, I was just Michelle,” she revealed in the chat.
“I later got a permanent place and the surname Connor,” Kym added.
“When I first started I was in the green room and walked past Bill Roache and in my head was like ‘Oh my God, it’s Ken Barlow!’.
“Beverley Callard (who played Liz McDonald) was so lovely. She really took me under her wing and made me feel really at ease,” she went on to dish.
Kym is starring in Abigail’s Party in Manchester’s Royal Exchange.
Rehearsals start on March 3 and the show opens April 4 with it running until May 17.

“I’m beside myself, just cant wait. There is something so freeing about paying another character, living someone else life for a little bit.”
Back in 2016, Kym opened up on why she healed a bitter feud she had with Hollyoaks actress Steph Waring two years after she began dating her ex.
Kym, who split with Steph’s ex Dan Hooper in December 2015, elaborated on the pair’s reconciliation at the time – with her even chatting about Michael Greco in the process.
“I’ve known her new boyfriend Michael Greco for years. He was really good friends with Jack Ryder, as they were in EastEnders at the same time,” she said at the time.
Kym was married to Jack, who played Jamie Mitchell in EastEnders, for seven years until 2009.
She added: “I saw Michael and he was with Steph so she and I ended up catching up properly, which was nice.
“Steph and I have obviously had our differences in the past, but I’m a big believer in letting things go and moving on.
“There was no awkwardness, it was good to talk. Steph and Michael seem happy and loved up. I wish them lots of luck together!”
