But John Whaite has confessed he’s permanently swapped telly work for sharing steamy content on OnlyFans.

It was revealed last year that John had made a return to the subscription platform.

And during a Q&A with fans he was asked if he worried it would affect his TV career.

John replied: “There are no future TV jobs for me.

“I left the industry over a year ago and haven’t once missed it. It was fun.

“I met some wonderful people and I’m grateful for everything I did. But I’m in a different phase of my life and I’m loving the freedom.”

John – who took part in the 2021 series of Strictly Come Dancing – also revealed the reason he signed up for OnlyFans.

He said: “Life is too short to take yourself seriously.

“In fact, life is absurd. And I spent 12 years being f***** by the TV industry in plain sight.”

John first set up an OnlyFans account in 2022 but swiftly shut it, later revealing “regrets” over the move.

He told Attitude at the time: “The more I was on it, the more money I was making, the more I was willing to give more.

“I had to be in control of that behaviour and say, ‘Nope, stop this now, before it goes too far’. I regret it deeply.”

Footage released by police shows the 33-year-old use his black Kia as a weapon while driving through Northstowe in Cambridgeshire.

Harris then mounted the kerb and struck the victim – catapulting him into a hedge.

The driver then flipped his car on to its side and into a house leaving it a mangled wreck.

Miraculously, the victim managed to escape the attack with superficial injuries to his legs, arms and back.

Harris has now been jailed for two years and three months after pleading guilty to attempted grievous bodily harm and dangerous driving.

He was also banned from driving for a year and ten months and was slapped with an indefinite restraining order.

Peterborough Crown Court heard Harris had received a call from his girlfriend on August 1 when a row she was having with the victim escalated.

While on route to the scene, Harris crashed into the parked Fiat 500 but failed to stop.

Detective Constable Callum Fullwood, who investigated, said: “The level of violence used by Harris in this case was appalling.

“He used his car as a weapon and can consider himself lucky that no one was killed and that no other innocent members of the public were injured by his reckless actions.”

Taking This Supplement Can Slow Down Aging, New Research Finds

You might not know it, but your workout routine and skincare regimen could be improving your biological age. Anti-aging practices like ice baths, facial treatments (plus, the products you use like retinol), and wearing sunscreen can help you physically look younger. But, presumably, you want to feel younger on the inside, too, right? Well, new research suggests that slowing down biological aging is as simple as taking one omega-3 supplement per day.

Research suggests that omega-3 supplements can delay biological aging.

Extensive research, as outlined by the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH), has designated omega-3s (found in fish oil supplements) as a preventative measure for heart disease, stroke, high triglycerides levels, cognitive decline, and rheumatoid arthritis.

But a new study published in the journal Nature Aging claims that taking a daily omega-3 supplement can also slow down biological aging. What’s more, when paired with vitamin D supplementation and exercise, this magical trio can extend your health span even further.

"In my opinion, 70 is the new 50," senior study author Steve Horvath told The Guardian. "Clearly, these interventions are not the cure against aging. However, the findings reinforce my commitment to taking a low-dose omega-3, vitamin D, and exercising regularly, all in moderation."

RELATED: 7 Things Your "Good Quality" Fish Oil Supplement Must Have, Says Doctor.

You can add months to your life with daily omega-3 supplements, per the study’s results.

For the study, 777 Swiss participants (age 70 or over) from the DO-HEALTH trial were randomly assigned to one of eight cohorts, each with a specific task. One group was prescribed a daily omega-3 supplement, while another took a daily vitamin D supplement. A third group completed a 30-minute workout three times per week. The remaining groups did a combination of these tasks.

Routine phone call check-ins were completed every three months, in addition to annual in-person assessments, during which blood samples were taken. The study lasted for three years.

To quantify the correlation between omega-3s and biological aging, researchers used epigenetic clocks, which "measure DNA methylation, chemical modifications that build up on DNA and reflect the biological rather than the chronological age of the tissue," as explained by The Guardian.

Per data obtained from the epigenetic clocks, daily omega-3 supplements slowed down biological aging by three months. Furthermore, in combined groups, those who took both fish oil and vitamin D supplements and engaged in exercise saw a four-month delay in aging.

"While the effects may appear small with three to four months rejuvenation of biological age in three years, if sustained, they may have relevant effects on population health," lead study author and University of Zurich professor Heike Bischoff-Ferrari said in an interview with The Guardian.

The takeaway:

The study says that when paired with vitamin D supplements and regular exercise, omega-3 supplements can slow biological aging by up to four months over three years. Additionally, researchers found that this power trio can help prevent certain cancers and aid against frailty.

That said, fish oil supplements are known to have hidden health risks. Studies have shown that these popular dietary supplements can cause irregular heartbeat and stroke in people without proper heart issues. They can also lead to blood clots, gastrointestinal issues, and negatively interact with other medications.

If you’re interested in upping your omega-3 intake, it’s best to first speak with a healthcare provider.

It’s not the first time the group have found themselves in a televised singing competition[/caption]

Moving away from the popular Eurodance music of recent years, Remember Monday are a country trio.

It’s a stark contrast to last year when Years and Years frontman Olly Alexander represented the UK with pop song Dizzy.

A source said: “As ever behind the scenes competition has been fierce to represent the UK.

“This year bosses have opted to shake things up and send a female trio, Remember Monday.

“The song is a stark change from Olly Alexander last year but the girls are sure to get the nation behind them.”

The British country pop trio is made up of Lauren Byrne, Holly-Anne Hull and Charlotte Steele.

It’s not the first time the group have found themselves in a televised singing competition.

In 2019 they took part in The Voice and caught the eye of BBC Radio 2 Breakfast host Scott Mills when they were played on the station last year.

They have also performed at a string of major UK events including Country to Country, The Long Road and Buckle and Boots.

Remember Monday have also amassed a following of 524,000 followers on TikTok alone.

This year the Eurovision Song Contest will take place in  St Jakobshalle, Basel, Switzerland.

Last November Remember Monday embarked on a UK tour, a year and a half after their debut headline gig in February 2023.

Opening up about taking the leap from their normal jobs to be performers, Holly previously said: “It was now or ever, as cringy as that sounds.

“We really loved the jobs we were in and we’d worked incredibly hard to get to the places that we were in career wise, so it was a really big redicion to leave those jobs.”

Last summer the trio also supported Billy Joel and Natasha Bedingfield at British SummerTime Festival in Hyde Park.

Teasing 2024 plans, Lauren joked: “World domination. I do have a dream for us that we are out on the road and touring and seeing amazing places. It’s be incredible to tour Europe.”

Guinness chiefs in ‘working around the clock’ vow ahead of St Patrick’s Day chaos after ‘unprecedented’ stout sale boost

DIAGEO has vowed to ramp up production of Guinness in Ireland after demand in the UK outstripped even the busiest St Patrick’s Day period.

The brewery’s parent firms said it “working around the clock” to increase supplies of the popular stout after a “sell-out” festive period led to shortages at British pubs.

Guinness reportedly raided its security stocks in Ireland in order to help fill the gap[/caption]

Diageo, which also owns Johnnie Walker whisky and Gordon’s gin, said Guinness sales have seen “extraordinary” growth in recent months.

Debra Crew, chief executive of the drinks giant, said sales of Guinness across October and November were stronger than it typically sees around St Patrick’s Day, as the drink’s popularity continues to boom.

However, a raft of pubs said they faced shortages over the busy Christmas period because they were unable to meet rampant demand.

Guinness reportedly raided its security stocks in Ireland in order to help fill the gap.

There were also reports that some pubs in London rationed the amount of Guinness that drinkers could buy to ensure customers had a fair share.

Ms Crew told reporters: “It has seen extraordinary growth in Britain, particularly at a time when the wider beer market is actually declining.

“Late last year, the demand was unprecedented. It was a sell-out period for the brand.

“We are working around the clock to replenish our stock levels and are boosting those quickly.

“We are spending 200 million euro on a new factory in Kildare, in order to bring more capacity online.”

Guinness saw net sales grow by 13 per cent over the half-year to December.

It came as Diageo reiterated it is “not selling” Guinness, after reports that the group is considering a spin-off or sale deal of the historic Irish brand.

Analysts had suggested the group could get as much as 10 billion dollars (£8 billion) for the business if it sought a deal.

Meanwhile, anti-booze watchdogs say they “watched with exasperation” the amount of Guinness branding inside the Aviva stadium during Ireland’s Six Nations rugby clash with England on Saturday.

Alcohol Action Ireland accused Diageo of using the cynical tactic of brand-sharing – advertising zero alcohol products using the same branding as the real deal – to circumvent the law banning alcohol brands on the field of play.

AAI CEO Dr Sheila Gilheany said: “Pairing a healthy activity, such as sport, with an unhealthy product, such as alcohol, makes that product seem less unhealthy and more acceptable and normal.”

While Diageo declined to comment, it’s understood the company adheres strictly to all advertising laws.

The Irish Sun has contacted the Diageo for a comment.
