That is 2mm higher than the average total rainfall for January.

The country is today facing another day of disruption and flood threats.

The forecaster issued a yellow warning of spells of rain which could lead to localised flooding covering South and West Wales until 9pm today.

While Natural Resources Wales has removed a series of flood warnings, Libanus in the Brecon Beacons saw 34.6mm of rain on Monday and nine flood alerts remain in place.

Another yellow alert for rain covering parts of southern England runs until 10am on Tuesday, warning of heavy rain, possible thunderstorms and flooding.

A landslip between Three Bridges and Gatwick Airport in Sussex has led to some northbound train lines being blocked.

Gusts of 84mph and almost 60mm of rainfall hit parts of southern England on Monday.

The Environment Agency has 37 flood warnings, where flooding is expected, in place in the south of England and the Midlands. A further 171 alerts, where flooding is possible, are in place across England.

Somerset Council said a major incident in the region, jointly declared with the police and other agencies, would be maintained until further notice with more rain forecast on Tuesday and Wednesday.

BOBBY Norris has shared his secret sadness while showing off the results of his hair transplant, after a homophobic attack.

The former Towie star and FUBAR radio host, 38, has jetted off to the world’s largest hair loss clinic, Elithair, in Turkey, to transform his look.

Bobby told us he’s had the transplant procedure after becoming “conscious” of his hairline, over the past few months.

He added: “I want to feel more confident, and as it’s such a popular treatment for men now I think it’s really the only way to change my hairline.”

Bobby has shown his 781,000 social media followers a before-and-after look at his hair.

In one video, the reality star could be seen showing off his dark locks being fully shaved off, and in another he reveals his shaved head as he joked: “If you are looking for a long lost ‘Mitchell Brother’ to join the firm, get on the dog and bone!!”

Towie favourite Bobby admitted he’s been “unhappy” about his hair and chose the Turkey clinic after visiting the country for a couple of procedures in the past.

He said: “It’s all I’ve been able to see when I look in the mirror, so I knew I needed help to feel more confident.”

Fans have praised Bobby for his move to have a hair transplant, as one person wrote: “I love how open you are Bobby you never hide or deny anything & that’s brave & strong Keep being you Bobby.”

A second added: “How refreshing for someone to be so honest about what procedure has been done. Good luck & excited to see the results.”

And a third echoed: “Hope it’s heals quickly and look forward to seeing the end results . Thanks for being open and honest . Very refreshing on this day and age.”

Bobby has since revealed the first results of his transplant while addressing the Prime Minister, Sir Kier Starmer in a new video.

The ITVBe favourite was travelling through Stratford’s Tube station when a vile individual branded him a “queer c**t” as he travelled to a meeting.

Bobby has previously opened up on the horror homophobia he has faced through the years, and in 2021 told how he was threatened with beheading just for being gay.

And now, in a video addressed to the Prime Minister, Bobby said: “I know homophobia exists, and during the pandemic homophobia went through the roof.

“Anyway, we’ve come out and world has gone back to some sort of normality, but sadly the homophobia isn’t just online anymore.

“The physical and verbal homophobia is off the scale.”

Bobby continued: “Something is going on and something needs to be done.

“I mentioned it’s physical and I’ve been attacked twice in the last few years because of my sexuality.”

Bobby called for the Prime Minister to do something as he added: “We’re meant to be moving forward, people from my community are living in fear, make it make sense.”

The star said he’d like to have a cup of tea with Sir Kier to talk about what could be done.

Bobby rocketed to fame when he joined TOWIE back in 2012.Yet sadly and unjustly this has meant he has been a target for homophobic slurs over the years.

Previously Bobby told how the swathes of online abuse sent his way are “always homophobic”, as part of Pride Month 2021.

SKY Q customers will finally be able to access a major UK broadcaster’s streaming app from their boxes.

Telly fans on satellite have long been waiting for the service to land, having existed on Sky Glass and Sky Stream for sometime now.

My5 is home to favourites including The Castaways[/caption]

And it also means that the streaming services for all of the UK’s main broadcasters are now accessible on Sky Q boxes.

The final piece of the puzzle is My5, the free streaming destination for Channel 5, as well as sister channels 5STAR, 5USA, 5SELECT and 5ACTION.

Sky customers could already find Channel 5 content on-demand but this latest move will open viewers up to the firm’s full slate of programming.

My5 is due to land on Sky Q boxes in February.

It comes as the company prepares a major revamp for both the channel and My5, adopting a single brand, 5.

The overhaul is set to take place in March.

My5 will be automatically updated on Sky Q, as well as Sky Glass and Sky Stream when the new app launches.

As well as a fresh look, more boxsets and shows are expected to land on the platform, as well as new online live channels.

Channel 5 recently revealed that My5 grew at its fastest ever rate in 2024.

Shock documentary My Wife, My Abuser was the number one most watched single title.

And original dramas including All Creatures Great and Small, Blindspot, The Teacher and Ellis boosted the platform too.
