Burgers pulled from supermarket shelves due to sulphur dioxide contamination

A WARNING has been issued over a contaminated burger, prompting stores pull them from its shelves.

Hogan’s Farm Turkey Burgers are being recalled due to containing undeclared sulphur dioxide.

Anyone with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide or sulphites may be at risk if they consume this product.

The company are recalling its Farm Turkey Burgers with use by dates of March 25, 26, 28 this year.

With a pack size of 400g.

Hogan’s Farm Turkey Burgers are only sold in Dunnes stores in Northern Ireland.

The FSA recommends that anyone who has bought this product and has a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide or sulphites, should not eat it.

Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
