Miriam has been married twice, first to Tom McGurk in 1983 and had four children with him; Alannah, Clara, and twins Jessica and Georgia.
She split from Tom in 1995 and in the same year met her now husband Steve Carson as the pair were working on BBC Newsnight.
Miriam frequently visits her daughters, who are scattered across the globe due to their work.
Yesterday, the mum-of-six took to her Instagram to share some adorable snaps from her Paddy’s weekend.
Miriam jetted off late last week to spend the bank holiday with her youngest daughter, Georgia, in London.
Miriam also met up with her daughter’s partner, Daragh and her niece Katie.
For her festive celebrations, Miriam got all dolled up as she posed for a snap with her daughter.
The pair looked as happy as ever to be reunited in the city as they took a photo in front of a jaw-dropping view of London in the background.
Raising a glass of bubbles in a selfie, the pair were joined by Georgia’s partner, Daragh.
In another snap from her weekend, Miriam looked delighted to pose alongside her niece, Katie.
The pair both clutched bouquets of flowers as they smiled for a sunny snap.
Sharing some of the snaps from her trip, Miriam wrote: “Precious weekend spent in London Town with my beloved @jessmcgurk & @daaraghmc & my adored niece Katie&Adam – also bumped into other great friends from home. Sad to leave. Until the next time.”
Friends and fans raced to the presenter’s comment section to gush over her snaps.
