The hip-hop trio originally planned to perform on December 17 this year, but due to high demand they have added another date.
Aiken Promotions announced the second date for Kneecap’s highly anticipated Dublin concert earlier today.
The Irish lads will now be taking to the stage on December 16 and 17 this Christmas.
Tickets for their second date go on sale this Thursday, February 6 at 10am from Ticketmaster.
While fans with a pre-sale code can nab tickets a couple of days early on Tuesday, February 4.
The band took to their Instagram today to share the exciting new with fans.
They wrote: “Dublin… HOLY F***! You’ve gone and SOLD OUT the 3Arena after 5 hours on general sale.
“So WE’VE ADDED A SECOND SHOW ON DEC 16th.”
Last week, Kneecap missed out on two Oscar nominations for their self-titled auto-biographical film.
The youngsters, who starred in the comedy flick, which is based off the origins of their career, were left disappointed after the Academy Award nominations were revealed.
The musicians were hopefuls in this years Best Original Song and Best International Picture category, but were unfortunately left with no joy.
The film, which stars Naoise O’Caireallain, JJ O Dochartaigh, and Liam Og O hAnnaidh as themselves, was set to become the second Irish language film to be nominated for Best International Film, after The Quiet Girl which which was nominated back in 2023.
However, after the official 2025 nominations were revealed in a live ceremony, the popular group were out by major films such as Emilia Perez, The Girl With The Needle and Flow.
Furious fans have since taken to social media to share their reaction to the news.
‘SNUBBED’
One fan wrote on Twitter: “Oscars snubbed Kneecap, they are not real.”
Bea said: “Nah they’ve been robbed.”
While Azra added: “The snub of Kneecap is easily the biggest miss of this award season.”
Stephen simply commented: “They were snubbed.”
And Shauna exclaimed: “No kneecap nomination… back to saying the Oscar’s are fixed and pretending I don’t care.”
Hero ex-Brit Army sniper, 23, dies on bloody Ukraine frontline sacrificing his life to draw drone fire from comrades
A HERO who deserted the British Army to fight for Ukraine is in line for a posthumous bravery medal after sacrificing his life to save three comrades.
Former Royal Welsh Fusilier Alexander Garms-Rizzi, 23, acted as “bait” to draw fire away from three Ukrainian troops during a frontline battle.

The trio reached the safety of a bunker – though one was seriously wounded – in the bloody “meat grinder” clash with Vladimir Putin’s forces in the east of Ukraine.
But Alexander was fatally wounded by a Russian drone in the bloody “no man’s land” between the warring forces.
And his commander and comrades saluted his courage last night as they mourned the young Brit being hailed as one of Ukraine’s most valiant frontline warriors.
His grieving best pal – a 28-year-old Finnish volunteer with the call sign “Finn” – told The Sun: “He was a born fighter and died how he would have wanted – with honour while helping others.”
Alexander was on a British Army NATO exercise in Estonia when he went awol in March 2022, a month after Russia invaded.
He sent his British commander a message admitting he had crossed the border to join Ukrainian forces, declaring he had gone to fight “a great evil.”
But he returned to the UK voluntarily after two months in the trenches and was jailed for a year by a UK court martial for defying direct orders to stay put.
The Sun’s team in Ukraine learned last week that Alexander – an infantryman with “Recon Team Kilo” – had returned to the embattled nation after serving eight months of his sentence.
We arranged to interview him in a cellar cafe at Kramatorsk near the eastern frontline – but he suddenly cancelled the meeting after being sent on “an important task”.
Three days later we discovered that it had been his last mission, when his Ukrainian commander broke the news that he had fallen in battle on Monday.
Alexander – whose call sign was “Sasha” – has been confirmed dead even though it has been too dangerous to recover his body from the frontline forest where he fell.
His Ukrainian commander told The Sun yesterday: “He was a very brave guy and very experienced.
“Back in 2022, he was one of the first foreign legionnaires to come to Ukraine.
“On the day he died Sasha and three Ukrainian soldiers were in a dugout which was badly hit and collapsed.
“Sasha was trapped under logs, but the guys managed to dig him out and realised they needed to run about 500 meters to the next safe shelter.
“There were enemy drones, shelling and surveillance so Sasha suggested a plan.
“He said he would distract the drones by running in a circle while the others ran to safety – and that’s what they did.
“In the end two of the guys survived unscathed, though the other one was seriously wounded near the dugout – but Sasha didn’t make it.
“They later searched for him with drones and found his body, but it hasn’t been evacuated yet.
“He took a different path and was only about 100 metres from safety when he was hit. He died a hero.”

The commander said Alexander’s body has proved impossible to recover in a forested area of the battle-scarred Kupiansk section of the frontline.
Comrades managed to reach him under cover of fog and dragged him 50 metres towards their lines but were forced to abandon the mission after coming under withering Russian fire.
The commander said: “Our guys got close and dragged his body for about 50 meters but then the fog lifted, and drones started attacking them.
“The terrain makes it impossible to carry a body safely as this is the forest – it’s too dangerous.”
The commander said Alexander was one of the most popular and enthusiastic members of his foreign legion unit – and also a master of high tech weaponry.
He had already been decorated for “Exceptional Courage” after single handedly thwarting a Russian offensive by blasting a tank with a British-supplied NLAW shoulder-launched missile.
The commander said: “He was one of the first to master NLAW rockets and used one to stop a Russian advance towards Mykolaiv.
“Sasha was the first to step up, got close to the tank, and destroyed it, stopping the attack single-handedly.
“He did this kind of thing constantly – he would selflessly fight for himself and his comrades but always with caution and skill.
“He was a machine gunner but versatile and could handle many weapons and was training to be a sniper – he had so much potential.”
Grieving comrades told yesterday how Alexander boosted morale with jokes and banter, describing the hell of frontline combat as “Jackass Ukraine” after the TV prank show.
He also kept a menagerie of pets including cats and dogs and even a family of ducklings who kept troops stocked with fresh eggs.
Close pal Finn told The Sun yesterday: “Sasha was very well liked by everyone. He saved lives – both Ukrainians and foreigners and our commanders loved him as well.
“He died doing something which was absolutely typical for him and it would not surprise me in the slightest if he was awarded a posthumous medal for bravery.
“We have lost a great fighter and a great asset – not least because he boosted morale and was always encouraging others.
“I remember one time when he was running around from dugout to the dugout, rallying the Ukrainians to come and fight when we were in the Donetsk region.
“We needed more people to come and help and he ran around holding very short but precise speeches telling them to get the f*** up and fight.
“He went on a little rampage just talking to guys saying ‘Ukraine needs you’ and it worked. None of us died in that operation.
“He was my best friend and I’m going to miss him – we are all going to miss him.”

Alexander – a fluent Russian speaker who was born in the UK but has a Russian mother and an Italian father – had helped with translation and weapons training.
He was jailed in July 2023 after a judge at Bulford Military Centre, Wilts ruled that going awol and fighting for Ukraine risked dragging the UK into a war with Russia.
But his principled stand came close to triggering a major diplomatic spat after then Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said she supported Brits who decided to join the fight in Ukraine.
Further friction followed when a decorated Ukrainian war hero who fought alongside him asked Ukraine president Volodymr Zelensky to intervene.
Special forces colonel and politician Roman Kostenko said Alexander served in Ukraine under his personal command – and proved a valuable addition to his ranks.
Kostenko said the fresh-faced Brit was one of 10 foreign volunteers in an infantry regiment who helped beat back a Russian advance around Mykolaiv in spring 2022.
The colonel said: “He arrived soon after the full-scale invasion – even though he was young, he was an accomplished soldier.
“He considered he was fighting against a great evil. We had many conversations about this. It was a difficult moment, early in the war. He spent two months with us.”
Kostenko said he had appealed to Zelensky to ask Downing Street to intervene on behalf of the young Brit in view of his “moral” stand, but appeals were rejected.
He said in a letter appealing for a pardon: “He joined bravely and professionally performed combat missions in the south of Ukraine together with Ukrainian defenders.
“Despite his young age he understood the strategic importance of defending Ukraine.”
“It’s bad for Britain if Ukraine loses this war. When volunteers from the UK and US stand with us on the battlefield we feel the whole world supports us.”
Judge Advocate General Darren Reed said at Alexander’s court martial that by operating alongside Ukrainian militia, he had defied orders and created a security risk.
Sentencing him, Judge Reed said: “The order not to go to Ukraine could not have been clearer. The order was there to protect British forces and the state from being dragged into the conflict.”
Alexander went on leave in March 2022 and failed to return two weeks later, the military court heard.
When his unit managed to contact him, the soldier — – who lived in Russia until the age of 12 and had Ukrainian friends —- admitted he had gone to join the war.
Colonel Grant Davies, prosecuting, told the hearing: “In an interview he said he went over to help the Ukrainian people. He said he couldn’t just stand by and watch things unfold.”
After being arrested when he re-entered the UK, the soldier pleaded guilty to being absent without leave and to a charge of contravening standing orders.
In addition to the one-year detention, Alexander, of Tidworth Barracks, Wilts, was dismissed from the British Army by the court.

Moment woman who taunted cops by posting ‘hey guys’ on her own wanted appeal is caught hiding under pile of TOYS
THIS is the disturbing moment a woman who taunted cops online is caught hiding under a pile of children’s toys.
A brazen woman who commented “hey guys” on her own wanted appeal has been arrested.
![A woman hiding under a pile of children's toys.](https://www.thesun.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/woman-hiding-pile-childrens-toys-968133706.jpg?strip=all&w=960)

Greater Manchester Police posted the appeal on Facebook in attempt to find her, and the audacious 22-year-old responded herself.
Cops found the woman, who has not been named, hiding under a pile of children’s toys at a home in Fallowfield, Manchester.
Body-worn video from the arrest on January 30, shows officers uncovering the woman hiding underneath miscellaneous items.
The bizarre footage shows the woman being discovered amongst a cuddly Disney toy, plastic figurines, clothes, wrapping paper, and cardboard boxes.
Laying on her back on the floor of a bedroom, wearing purple leggings and a grey zipped jumper, she covers her face as cops find her hiding spot.
An officer is heard communicating with others, saying “she’s here” as he lifts toys off of her body.
She is then heard groaning before the officer shouts “get up now.”
The woman was arrested on suspicion of failing to appear in court.
Her court appearance was related to three counts of assault of an emergency worker, drug offences and theft.
She was further arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.
Now the 22-year-old remains in custody for questioning by detectives.
GMP’s detective inspector Natalie McDonald said: “We currently have a woman in custody being questioned by detectives thanks to the swift actions of our officers.
“We want to thank everyone who engaged with our post, it ultimately helped us to locate and arrest this woman and we have dedicated teams of officers across Manchester who are actively seeking and arresting those who are wanted.”
This isn’t the first time a wanted person has responded to their own appeal.
Daniel Kellaway, 29, couldn’t help but snap back at cops who described him as having a receding hairline.
Avon and Somerset Police published an appeal on Good Friday last year.
Kellaway commented on the site later that day saying: “No need to mention the hairline guys, I’m heading to Turkey to get it sorted then we will catch up.”

She said: “Good evening everyone. Do you know what? So, I can take all this off my nose, but it feels sore still.
“So, that is me trying to put the bandage on myself. What a state is that. I’ve proper bodged this up.”
The star went back to Turkey for yet more surgery earlier this month following her 17th boob job and a face lift.
Speaking from her hospital bed, the former glamour model revealed she was preparing to go under the knife again.
She told fans on Snapchat and Instagram: “From my last surgery, there are just a few little bits that I want tweaking.
“Well, they need tweaking. So here I am getting ready. That’s the worst bit for me, the needle. The needle’s done so now I can relax.”
Katie, 46, revealed she had to wait a few hours for blood test results before the procedure, saying she planned to get some sleep in the meantime.
She also recently admitted her face lift left her with botched ears.
Sources close to the star claimed she was unhappy with her “pixie ears” following the face lift.
Closer Magazine reported: “Katie is heading to Turkey for her first New Year’s procedure: fixing her pixie ears.
“She thinks they need correcting after her recent facelift. She’s having her ears removed, then re-stitched in place and pinned back so that they don’t stick out.”
Reflecting on Katie’s “obsession” with surgery, the source continued: “Friends think Katie has gone too far.
“They feel like she’s obsessed and loves the attention – and the money from the pictures – that the surgery brings in.”
This recent surgery comes amid discussions about Katie’s noticeable weight loss.
Addressing concerns, she attributed her slimmer figure to a change in diet and increased physical activity, and shutting down speculation she has used weight loss injections.
Katie explained that she had previously gained weight due to IVF treatments and inactivity following a foot injury in 2020.
She emphasised that she has always been naturally thin and is now returning to her usual size.

Inside LA’s huge £50m FireAid concert as massive 90s band reunite and Lady Gaga debuts new track
DAVE Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear turned back the clock as they reformed Nirvana for FireAid in Los Angeles.
The band — which split in 1994 after the death of lead singer Kurt Cobain — united with St Vincent, Kim Gordon, Joan Jett and Dave’s daughter Violet to play a repeat of the four-song set from their 2014 Rock And Roll Hall of Fame induction.

And it was hauntingly brilliant.
St Vincent, pictured right with the band, wowed fans with her stunning vocals on Breed at the packed out Intuit Dome in Los Angeles to raise money for the relief effort after the Californian wild fires.
Simultaneously, another show took place at the Kia Forum, with acts including Billie Eilish, Dr Dre, Pink, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sting and Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks on the star billings.
Olivia Rodrigo, Joni Mitchell, Slash, Katy Perry and Gwen Stefani’s band No Doubt also performed sets at Thursday’s concerts, which have so far raised over £50million.
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga put on a show to remember, debuting her new song, All I Need Is Time.
We caught up with Sir Rod Stewart backstage at the Intuit Dome, where he told us he was among the first to respond to calls from music boss Irving Azoff, who organised the massive fundraisers.
“I wish I was here under better circumstances,” Rod said.
“It’s the greatest privilege ever. I am lost for words.”
Sir Rod was over in the Caribbean celebrating his 80th birthday when the blazes engulfed so much of LA.
Penny Lancaster, who joined her megastar husband backstage, told us: “We were very fortunate to be together. To have all the kids around us, thinking about how many families were displaced and their memories from the past lost . . .
“Rod was the first to offer up his voice and everyone is here and hopefully that will bring everyone out in droves to give money to this important cause.”
Rod added: “It was important to be the first one on board. And I have come all the way from London.
“I don’t know what we are trying to raise, but I am hoping for a world record maybe in one night.”
Recalling the moment he heard about the fires, Rod said: “Everyone was calling me up, saying, ‘Is your house OK?’.”
Penny added: “We keep hearing about friends who were given five minutes to evacuate. What do you grab in five minutes?”
Ever the gent, Rod also helped out members of his team who lost belongings in the fires — including someone who worked with him on his autobiography.
Recalling his conversation with the man, Rod said: “He lost absolutely everything.
“He told me, ‘Rod, the most important thing I lost was two suits and my tuxedos’. I said, ‘Go and get yourself measured up, I’ll replace them’.”
Never change, Rod.

Rod gets his gong out
SIR ROD showed off some impressive bling as he arrived with wife Penny Lancaster and proudly wore his knighthood pendant around his neck.
The Maggie May singer was given the honour in 2016 for his services to charity and music.
Rod was knighted by Prince William and said afterwards: “We talked about music and he said: ‘It’s great that you’re still going’, and I said: ‘I have to – I’ve got eight children.’”
No rest for the wicked, eh, Rod?
Billy's house battle
BILLY CRYSTAL recalled losing his home in the fires as he opened the event at the Kia Forum.
He told the crowd: “These are the clothes I wore when I fled my house with my wife Janice on January 7.”
Recalling how he fell to his knees and sobbed when he returned to the place his home once stood, Billy said: “We’ll laugh again. Let’s show the world who we are: We’re Los Angeles, one city, one heart. L.A. Strong.”
Generous Bono and his U2 bandmates kicked off the donations by handing over $1million (£800,000) to the relief effort before the concerts started.
Album set in Stones
I REVEALED yesterday that the Rolling Stones had shelved plans for a huge European and UK tour this summer.
But while it’s rubbish news for us fans who wanted to see Sir Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood playing live – it does mean they have time to get working on another album.

And former Stones guitarist Bill Wyman has admitted he’s already recorded a song for the record, which would be the follow up to their last No1 album Hackney Diamonds.
Bill said: “I did another track, I don’t know the title of it.
“But I played on another track, and I said, ‘What’s happening with that?’ They said, ‘We’re going to save it for the next album.’ It was a more bluesy track, more relaxed, more open.
“I just put what I thought was a pretty decent bass on it, because they didn’t have bass on it.
“It was more open, the kind of thing I prefer.”
Bill’s tune on Hackney Diamonds, Live By The Sword, also featured drumming by The Stones’s late bandmate Charlie Watts.
Bill added: “It was a pleasure to do it and it was lovely to do it with Charlie, who was my best friend.”
Insiders close to the band told me they hope to hit the road on our shores next year, if promoters can get the right deal done.
Here’s hoping they pull their fingers out.
KSI's £20million payday
KSI has got so many strings to his bow, he’s giving Robin Hood a run for his money.
But it turns out being a YouTuber, rapper, boxer, entrepreneur and BGT judge certainly pays off.
I’ve learned KSI earned £121,000 a week last year, taking assets to £20.8million after a knockout 2024.
KSI, who is due back in the boxing ring in March, also enjoys ten billion views over his three YouTube channels.
Later this year, he will stand in as a guest judge during the auditions for BGT.
Judging by these figures, he doesn’t need the cash.
Yung love is in the air for Anais
THERE could be another celebrity romance on the horizon, after Yungblud and Anais Gallagher were spotted together during her birthday celebrations.
Yungblud, real name Dominic Harrison, was seen putting his arm around Anais in my exclusive picture – which showed them heading home after her birthday party in Primrose Hill, London.

Dating Anais isn’t for the faint-hearted though, given her dad is Oasis rocker Noel Gallagher.
Still, Dominic from my experience is one of the most charming blokes around – so I’m sure that he’d have Noel eating out the palm of his hand.
