Man Utd academy kid, 14, sends Marcus Rashford sweet message praising classy gesture days before Aston Villa move
A 14-YEAR-OLD Manchester United academy star sent Marcus Rashford a sweet message after the forward joined Aston Villa on loan.
JJ Gabriel is part of the youth set-up at United – where Rashford also progressed through the ranks.
And he revealed a classy gesture from the £325,000-a-week forward just days before he sealed his exit to Villa Park.
Commenting on the post confirming Rashford’s switch, teenage sensation Gabriel dubbed ‘Kid Messi’ replied: “All the best thanks for taking pens with me [the] other day.”
The youngster, who signed for United alongside Cristiano Ronaldo Jr in 2022, finished off the comment with a clapping hands emoji.
Plenty of fans picked up on the remark and praised Rashford for his behaviour.
One said: “That’s actually quite wholesome.”
Another wrote: “They all really looked up to him.”
And a third added: “Very wholesome. I wish nothing but Marcus the best at Aston Villa.”
Wayne Rooney revealed he saw Rashford training alone when he went to Carrington to watch his son Kai in action for the United youngsters.

And the club legend was left with second-hand embarrassment as Rashford worked out in close proximity to the juniors’ pitches.
Rooney told the Stick to Football podcast: “I went into Carrington on Sunday to take my kids to game day and Marcus Rashford was out on the training pitch with the fitness coach.
“But he was right over towards where the parents were walking past for the kids’ games.
“I looked at him thinking how embarrassing it must be for him as parents walked past. He’s there and all the parents are walking past him.”
After his public fall-out with Ruben Amorim in which he was exiled from the squad and told he would never play for United again, Rashford eventually completed his departure to Villa Park on Sunday night.
Villa agreed to cover 75 per cent of Rashford’s mammoth wages – a stumbling block for other interested clubs – and have an option to make the transfer permanent for £40million at the end of the season.
Upon arriving at his new club, the forward said: “I would like to thank Manchester United and Aston Villa for making this loan deal happen.
“I was lucky to have a few clubs approach me but Aston Villa was an easy decision.
“I really admire the way that Aston Villa have been playing this season, and the managers’ ambitions.
“I just want to play football and am excited to get started.
“I wish everyone at Manchester United all the best for the rest of the season.”

SHAKIRA was cheered on by her biggest and most adorable fans at the Grammys – her beloved sons.
The singer took home the award for Best Latin Pop Album for Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran (Woman Don’t Cry Anymore) on Sunday evening, and her sons, Milan, 11, and Sasha, 9, were quick to jump up in delight to celebrate.
The iconic singer wasted no time in wrapping her kids up in a hug as they jumped up and down, with the sweet moment being caught on camera before she took to the stage.
Shakira then celebrated them in her acceptance speech, telling them: “Milan and Sasha, who are here with me, I’m so proud of you guys, of your kind hearts.
“Thank you so much for supporting me the way you do. I love you.”
The boys then completely stole the show by blowing their mom a kiss from their seats, melting the hearts of those watching at home.
Later that evening, Shakira took to the stage for a performance, bringing the house down with a classically high-energy dance routine in a sparkling gold catsuit.
Milan and Sasha were suitably dressed up at the event, taking to the red carpet with their mom in matching silver and black suits.
After the event, they were seen gripping on to her hands as they made their way backstage – with Shakira smiling as they did so.
Shakira’s win comes after the star took seven years away from the spotlight.
Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran was her big return to music, and tracked her very public break-up from her longtime love.
Former Barcelona player Gerard Piqué and Shakira announced their break-up in 2022 after 11 years together.
She also found herself in trouble with tax authorities in Spain who demanded they fork out a staggering £50million.
Declaring herself a “wounded She Wolf” in an interview with Rolling Stone, she was determined to see the bright side by turning her heartache into art.

SHE may be sisters with the future Queen of England, but Pippa Middleton has a swanky life of her own.
As well as living in a £15million Berkshire house, she also co-owns Bucklebury Farm which could soon have a new business venture opening.
A message posted on the official Bucklebury Farm Instagram account earlier this month read: “Bucklebury Farm is considering opening a nursery for children aged 9 months to 5 years.

“We’d also love to hear your thoughts and suggestions – let us know what you think.”
The couple bought the 72-acre Bucklebury Farm in Berkshire back in October 2020 for £1.5million, and they now run it with business partner James Murray.
The location was previously a deer safari park, but they have since transformed it to have glamping pods and to be a kid’s attraction with ziplines, a petting zoo and a play area
There are more than 160 animals, including rabbits, goats, donkeys, pigs and chickens.
Last year, Richard Eden wrote in the Mail that they had plans to expand it further.
He shared: “Carole’s son-in-law, James Matthews, bought Bucklebury Farm in Berkshire for £1.5million in 2020.
“Now, I hear, he’s opening its lodge for parties, as well as events and even Pilates.”
Pippa and her husband have previously been spotted at the farm, along with Kate Middleton and her kids.
The farm is just minutes from their £5m family home in Berkshire.
Kate and William are still regular visitors to the Middleton family home and are known to take trips to the local boozer the Boot Inn.
In fact Prince George spent his first few weeks in Bucklebury rather than Kensington Palace.
If Pippa – who is estimated to be worth £43million – does open a nursery at the farm, her two youngest children could attend, Grace, three, and Rose, one.
They also have son Arthur, five, who has started school.
This follows Pippa and Kate’s mum Carole Middleton running her Party Pieces business, after she realised she could make some money from creating party bags.
She grew the firm into a multi-million-pound business, which helped fund her kids attending the elite boarding school Marlborough College.

KATE Middleton is extremely close to her family, including mum Carole and sister Pippa.
And when Prince William’s wife becomes Queen one day, her beloved family members could be in line for some special honours.
Royal author Phil Dampier told Fabulous that Pippa Middleton could be given a similar role to Queen Camilla’s younger sister, Annabel Elliott, who is one of her six “companions”.
He said: “I certainly think there could be a role for Pippa as a lady-in-waiting or companion type role.
“This needs to be someone the then Queen can trust and rely on, and who better than her sister?
“Pippa has some commercial interests but I’m sure by the time Kate becomes Queen she would be happy to fulfil that role if required.
“It’s not necessarily a full time job so she would be available.
“We all know what a sensation she was at their wedding in 2011 and since then she has kept a relatively low profile and of course is happily married.”
Another person he thought could be in line for a “companion” position is Kate’s stylist and close friend Natasha Archer, as she is “someone else she trusts and would be ideal for a supportive post.”
It wasn’t such a fairytale ending for Party Pieces, however, which was badly hit by Covid restrictions.
In April 2023, the company called in advisers at restructuring firm Interpath to try to raise fresh funds for the business.
However, the family decided to move on from the company and in May 2023 the business sold in a pre-package deal to the Essex-based entrepreneur James Sinclair.
Philippa Middleton, known to most as Pippa, is the middle child of the three Middleton children – Catherine, Princess of Wales, and James William Middleton, an entrepreneur whose company sells cake-making kits for birthdays.
Pippa tied the knot with hedge fund manager James Spencer Matthews in 2017, who was born in August 1975 to parents David, who owns the luxury Eden Rock resort in St Barts in the Caribbean, and artist mother Jane.
Pippa and James met in 2006 on the Caribbean island of St Barts and had an on-off relationship before they became a steady couple in 2014.
James is the heir to the Scottish title of Laird of Glen Affric and his childhood was split between St Barts and Caunton Manor in Lincolnshire.
