Little-known iPhone menu reveals if someone you know is secretly tracking your EVERY move – check two other settings too

A SIMPLE sign in your iPhone settings reveals if someone is able to spy on your every move.

It’s horrible to think about but a person close to you could be tracking your location on a digital map.

There’s a handy iPhone feature called Share My Location.

If you activate it, a person you love and trust – like a partner or parent – can see where you are at any time in the Find My app.

But it’s possible that someone who has access to your iPhone might have set themselves up on this feature without your knowledge.

You might not even notice it – potentially allowing them to follow your every move on the Find My app.

The good news is that it’s extremely easy to check if this has happened to you.

Just go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > Share My Location.

There you’ll be able to see a list of people (if any) who have access to your live location.

And if you see a name that you’re not happy with, you can revoke their access.

Just keep in mind that the person will be able to tell that they’ve been removed from your Share My Location list.

If you’re concerned, it may be worth screenshotting any info.

EXTRA CHECKS TO MAKE

There are two other essential checks that you should make if you’re worried about being spied on.

Firstly, you’ll want to see if any unknown tracker tags have been moving with you.

Tracker tags like the Apple AirTag can be hidden on your clothing or belongings, allowing the owner to follow your movements on a map.

Thankfully your iPhone can automatically detect these unknown AirTags and alert you.

Apple
You can go into the Find My app to see a list of unknown devices that have been logged as moving with you[/caption]

And you can check if you’ve had any such alerts by going into the Find My app on your iPhone.

If you tap on the alert, you can see a map that shows where the AirTag has tracked you.

The route you’ve taken will be marked out in dashed lines, potentially helping to reveal who might have placed the AirTag on you.

It’s possible to make the AirTag beep by hitting the Play Sound button in the app, helping you to find exactly where it is.

DO A SAFETY CHECK!

There's a useful feature called Safety Check to quickly block out snoopers...

Safety Check lets you see what info you’re sharing (knowingly or unknowingly) with other people or apps.

Just go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Safety Check.

That’s where you can quickly review, update, and even stop sharing info with people or apps.

It’ll guide you through a simple process to see if anyone is accessing your location, viewing your photos, or logging into your Apple ID.

And if you’re particularly worried, you can tap the Emergency Reset button to immediately cut off all access for other people or apps.

There’s also a Quick Exit button in Safety Check that lets you immediately close the Settings app, saving any changes that you’ve already made.

Apple
A dashed red line will appear to show you where the AirTag has been logged as moving with you[/caption]

And if you hold the top of your iPhone on the white side of the AirTag, you’ll be taken to a website with information about the tracker.

This will have the AirTag’s serial number (note this down) as well as the last four digits of the phone number for the person who registered the tracker.

“This can help you identify the owner, if you know them,” Apple explains.

“You might want to take a screenshot to make sure that you can document the information.”

Apple
If you scan the AirTag with your iPhone, you’ll be able to see the last four digits of the phone number belonging to its owner[/caption]

You can disable the AirTag by pushing down and twisting on the back, removing the cover, and then taking out the battery.

Secondly, you must make sure that no one else is signed into your Apple ID.

If someone has logged themselves into your Apple account, they could silently follow your every move.

Again, there’s a simple check to make to see if this is happening.

Unlock your iPhone and then go to Settings > [Name].

Scroll down on this page and you’ll see a long list of devices that are signed into your Apple account.

If you tap on one, you can find out more details about it – including its linked phone number and serial number.

So if you’re unsure about a specific device – like an iPhone – you can check the serial number listed with the one you own.

You can see the devices signed into your Apple account, check their serial numbers, and remove any gadgets that you don’t recognise[/caption]

If you’re seeing a device that you don’t own on that list, someone may be accessing your Apple account.

It’s possible to remove that device from your account right there in Settings.

Apple says that once you’ve removed an unrecognised device, you should change your password immediately.

SAFETY AND SUPPORT

If you’re worried about your safety, speak to your local police. In an emergency, dial 999 in the UK or 911 in the US.

If you need support, you can call the National Domestic Abuse Helpline in the UK on 0808 2000 247.

It’s a free number that’s available 24 hours a day.

In the US, you can contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline on 1-800-799-7233.

This is a free and confidential number operating 24/7.

Tom McKibbin insists ‘I’m not playing in Majors anyway’ as he defends LIV move after Rory McIlroy’s ‘sacrifice’ warning

TOM McKIBBIN has defended his decision to join LIV Golf following Rory McIlroy’s warning that he would be “sacrificing” a place at the Ryder Cup.

The 22-year-old has penned a multi-million dollar deal with the tour to join Jon Rahm’s Legion XIII team.

Rory mcIlroy warned McKibbin would be sacrificing his Ryder Cup future

The Antrim had been linked with the move since early January and spoke of the reason behind it on the eve of LIV’s opening event at the Riyadh Golf Club.

And he reasoned: “Obviously being young and 22, I’ve watched this for the last couple years since it started, and it’s something that I’ve really liked to watch, something very different, something that probably appeals to more people my age.

“I think the opportunity to get to play with these guys here and learn from some of the best players in the world week in, week out is something that appealed very, very nicely to me.

“I liked the whole concept of everything, as I said, something from a younger age standpoint is something that – I sort of liked the atmosphere of it.

“It was something cool and something new to me and something I’m very much looking forward to.”

His move came despite being warned against it by Rory McIlroy.

A frequent critic of LIV since its inception, the Holywood man warned that McKibbin would be “sacrificing” his Ryder Cup future.

He argued: “I think he’s got a ton of potential. I said to him, if I were in your shoes, I would make a different choice than the one you’re thinking of making.

“I think working so hard to get your [PGA] Tour card in the States, something that he did, to achieve that goal last year was a big achievement.

“What he potentially is sacrificing and giving up with access to majors, potential Ryder Cup spot, depending on how he would play.

“If I were in his position and I had his potential, which I think I have been before, I wouldn’t make that decision.”

The Northern Irish golfer won a PGA Tour card last season after claiming one of the ten dual cards up for grabs on the DP World Tour end-of-season order of merit.

The Newtownabbey starlet has qualified for The Open at Royal Portrush but no other majors.

He will forfeit his playing privileges on the PGA Tour after penning a deal with LIV.

The world 107 will now have to rely on invitations to major championships as there’s no world ranking points on offer at LIV.

But he insisted he has no regrets as he was not going to be in the Majors anyway.

McKibbin added: “Yeah, it was definitely in my mind, but to me, I wasn’t in any of those anyway.

“Again, the opportunity to get to play with guys out here more often, more consistently was definitely a huge factor.

“I’m not in those majors anyway at the minute, so it really didn’t bother me too much.”

Bear Hunt’s Danny Cipriani breaks silence on split from Hollywood star AnnaLynne McCord

CELEBRITY Bear Hunt’s Danny Cipriani has broken his silence on splitting from Hollywood star AnnaLynne McCord.

It was reported earlier this month that retired rugby hunk Danny and Nip/Tuck star AnnaLynne, both 37, had parted ways after nine months together.

An insider revealed the long-distance relationship took its toll on the sportsman, who had been regularly jetting out to LA to see the blonde bombshell.

Speaking at Celebrity Bear Hunt‘s Leicester Square screening last night, Danny confirmed the story, revealing they are still on friendly terms however.

The former England player told The Sun and other press how AnnaLynne supported him as he took part in the Netflix survival show.

Along with a cast of other celebs, Danny flew out to Costa Rica last year to take part in a slew of tough-challenges, all whilst hoping to evade the capture of explorer Bear Grylls.

He said: “We’re not together right now, but she really enjoyed [watching] it. We were just talking about it and she really enjoyed it. She was so positive.

“There was one time I phoned her during it and I was thinking about how I’m going to get out of here. She was like, ‘Look, I’m down, I’m going.’ She was awesome.”

Danny and AnnaLynne seemed infatuated with each other through most of last year – but a series of alleged fallouts brought an end to the romance.

A source told MailOnline: “They have known each other for years after meeting at on celebrity dating app Raya but being in an official relationship hasn’t worked out for them.

“Danny was spending the majority of his time in America to be with AnnaLynne but since their split he has been at home, which is the biggest sign they’re over for good.

“Their romance was very turbulent, Danny is going through a very difficult divorce and wasn’t able to give AnnaLynne everything she needed.”

The Sun contacted a representative for Danny at the time.

Danny and AnnaLynne became an item last April, just months after he split from ex-wife Victoria Rose.

He launched their relationship by saying: “My miracle… loving you is the easiest thing in the world.”

The pair bonded over their passion for spirituality and were pictured on holiday in Egypt and on the beach in LA.

Last year she bravely spoke out about overcoming sex addiction, saying: “I used to say to people, ‘Yes, your body is a temple, my body is a brothel’.

“I had a morbid sense of humour about it.

“I got off on the fact sex is this thing I could have all day, every day and never get tired of, and no one could keep up with me.”

Danny moved to Beverly Hills in September shortly after speaking out about his relationship with Victoria, claiming she told him numerous lies.

He said: “When I look back now, I realise how much she hoodwinked me. But I really wanted to believe her.

“I feel like I don’t know who she is. I don’t think I ever did because I have no idea what is the truth.”

The pair married in 2021 and got engaged after just four months of dating in August 2020.

In November 2023, just weeks before Danny appeared in the Strictly Christmas special, they announced that they had split up after Victoria claimed to have seen “messages on his phone”.

Danny Cipriani's love life

Monica Irimia (2007) – Dated the Cheeky Girl singer but allegedly cheated with glamour model Larissa Summers. Monica later warned Kelly Brook: “He doesn’t want a steady relationship.”

Kelly Brook (2008-2010) – One of his longest romances, but it ended in disaster when she caught him handing his number to a Vegas stripper. She later branded him a “car crash”. Danny admitted he suffered depression for nine months after their breakup.

Lindsay Lohan (2010) – A brief fling that ended dramatically when a “Megan Fox lookalike” allegedly punched Lindsay in the face – an incident Danny blamed himself for.

Katie Price (2011) – A fiery romance turned bitter when Katie accused him of cheating and later called him “Danny Chipolata” in her autobiography. He later admitted her words were frustrating but held no grudges.

Lara Bingle (2011) – The Aussie model fell hard for Danny, but he dumped her just weeks after she declared her love. Her team later said, “Lara was as surprised as anyone else.”

Jasmine Waltz (2014-2015) – Thought Danny had changed but later accused him of “love-bombing” her. He later revealed she was the woman who allegedly punched Lindsay Lohan, which Jasmine denied.

Kirsty Gallacher (2015-2016) – The sports presenter and Danny had an intense six-month romance, but their 12-year age gap and her responsibilities as a mum led to their split.

Victoria Rose (2020-2023) – His first wife, whom he married in 2022. Their whirlwind romance ended in late 2023, with Danny saying they were “on different journeys”.

AnnaLynne McCord (2024-2025) – Met on celebrity dating app Raya. Danny called her his “miracle”, but their romance fizzled after a year.

The upcoming film will focus on Plankton, Spongebob’s greatest frenemy[/caption]

The new spin off movie Plankton: The Movie will land on the streaming platform from March 7th.

In the film, Sheldon J. Plankton is finally getting his close up.

The synopsis for the new spin off states: “Plankton’s latest evil scheme is thwarted, and Bikini Bottom and the surface world become threatened by an unexpected danger when his iconic cartoon robot Karen goes rogue.

Before Plankton is able to take over the world, he’s going to have to save it first.

The film will see Jill Talley (Karen), Tom Kenny (SpongeBob), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick Star), Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy Cheeks), Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs) and Rodger Bumpass (Squidward) all return for the latest cartoon instalment.

The film will also feature original songs from Bret McKenzie, Linda Perry, Mark Mothersbaugh and Bob Mothersbaugh, and music composed by Mahuia Bridgman-Cooper.

The 1hr27 minute film is the latest movie from the Spongebob franchise, which started 25 years ago.

This marks Netflix’s second “SpongeBob” feature following “Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie” last year.

Last year the lovable yellow character celebrated its 25th anniversary, with Nickelodeon showing a half-hour 25th anniversary special, SpongeBob SquarePants, Snow Yellow, at New York Comic Con 2024 for fans.

The Spongebob empire regularly sees new episodes released for fans, as well as spin off series including The Patrick Star Show.

Last year Nickelodeon confirmed they were renewing the Patrick focused show for a fourth and fifth season.

Later this year another film is in the works to be released, with The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie: Search for SquarePants set to air in December.

Whilst little has been revealed about this film so far, it has teased that it will have a large focus on the Flying Dutchman’s Ghost.

Star Wars icon Mark Hammill has been confirmed to be the voice of the Flying Dutchman in the upcoming film.

WWE 2K25 lets you get closer to the bombastic wrestling action than ever before

EVER since WWE 2K22 the developers have been listening to player feedback and giving them exactly what they want.

We were invited to play the upcoming entry WWE 2K25, and there are a number of changes we’ve been begging for.

Roman Reigns in WWE 2K25.

Iconic matches are more playable than ever in Showcase Mode[/caption]

2K
We didn’t play Island Mode but it will be make or break for the series[/caption]

2K
Fights will no longer be split by gender and anyone is free to fight[/caption]

The biggest addition is intergender matches, in which any wrestler can fight any other, in any match type and under any circumstances.

Pitting the smallest women against the biggest men will cause clipping issues, but you’re more than welcome to pit Alexa Bliss against Braun Strowman.

WWE 2K25 is embracing the sillier side of wrestling, and the NXT parking lot is now included among the brawl environments.

This means that you can fight on top of the WrestleMania sign before throwing your opponent into the Smackdown fist.

The latest entry has also added in a third-person camera instead of a fixed camera angle.

In its current state, we found we were wrestling more with the camera than the opponent, but there is still time to iron out the creases.

Players love creating cinematic matches and stories with their gameplay, and this will give them a whole new way to record it.

Showcase mode has also been dramatically improved, as all footage has now been animated in-game.

This replaces the old ‘Slingshot’ system which mixes in real WWE footage with the cutscenes.

The number of cutscenes has also been reduced, meaning you feel more like you are playing the iconic match rather than watching it.

Not only can you play iconic matches as they happened, but you can change history by playing out alternate scenarios as well.

You can also play dream matches that never happened in real life, no matter how chaotic they would be.

It feels as if the series has finally embraced how people’s wrestling fantasies can come true via video games.

You will receive some context between each match via commentary, not only telling you about the wrestlers involved, but also the storyline leading up to that match.

In the past many people played Showcase Mode because they felt obligated, as there are items you unlock for completing each match.

This year might be the first time that people play Showcase Mode outside of the in-game incentives.

It’s still early, but WWE 2K25 seems to be taking all the right steps to become a perfect new entry in the series.

We didn’t even have the chance to play Island Mode for our preview, and it is by far the most exciting new prospect for the game.

If nothing else the Island Mode will show us whether WWE 2K25 takes a bold step forward or continues to play things safe.

Whether Island Mode is everything we hope for or not, it’s clear that the fundamentals of the series are the strongest they’ve ever been.

COVID’s “Extreme Inflammatory Response” Can Hurt Your Heart, New Research Shows

Scientists are still trying to wrap their heads around the effects of long COVID, which data shows is affecting more than 1 million children and 20 million adults in the U.S. Common long-COVID symptoms include fatigue, brain fog, excess thirst, chronic cough, and more, according to a 2023 study. Adding to the alarm is new research that shows COVID's "extreme inflammatory response" increases one's risk of cardiovascular events beyond the first month of infection.

RELATED: Experts Raise Alarm on The Most Lethal Disease in America: "It's Killing Every 34 Seconds."

COVID-19 can lead to plaque buildup in the coronary arteries.

The new study was published this week in the journal Radiology. It included 803 participants and allowed researchers to observe 2,108 coronary artery lesions in patients with COVID and 480 coronary artery lesions in those without the infection.

Coronary artery lesions are buildups of plaque (often formed by calcium, cholesterol, or fat) in the artery walls that restrict or block blood flow to the heart. This can lead to coronary artery disease (CAD), a type of heart disease that may cause angina (chest pain), shortness of breath, fatigue, and, in severe cases, heart attack, explains Mayo Clinic.

The Radiology study concluded that COVID-19 was associated with "the rapid growth of plaque in the coronary arteries and an increased risk of cardiovascular events," according to a press release.

Junbo Ge, MD, the study's lead author and a professor and director of the Cardiology Department at Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University in Shanghai, China, explained that "an extreme inflammatory response" caused by COVID is what leads to these heart issues.

"Inflammation following COVID-19 can lead to ongoing plaque growth, particularly in high-risk, noncalcified plaques," he said. "Patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection are at increased risk for myocardial infarction [heart attack], acute coronary syndrome and stroke for up to a year."

He added that these risks were equally present regardless of any comorbidities, including age, hypertension (high blood pressure), and diabetes.

Ge notes that more research is necessary to understand "the biological mechanisms" of these findings in order to improve patient care: "It’s crucial to anticipate a heavier cardiovascular patient burden in the future as most infected individuals recover from acute SARS-CoV-2 infection."

RELATED: Cardiac Surgeon Reveals the Top 3 Supplements for Heart Health.

Additional research links COVID to heart problems.

Previous research has also linked COVID to heart problems. For example, an oft-cited 2023 study published in the journal Nature Reviews Microbiology found that COVID infections "increased the risk of cardiac arrest, death, diabetes, heart failure, pulmonary embolism and stroke."

More specifically, a 2022 study concluded that those who had COVID-19 had a much higher risk of developing atrial fibrillation (AFib), while another 2022 study saw a link between the virus and myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscle that can cause blood clots.

In speaking about this research to the American Heart Association (AHA), neurologist Lindsay McAlpine, MD, director of the Yale NeuroCovid Clinic, said that "SARS-CoV-2 is excellent at triggering your immune system to go from zero to 100," and this sudden surge can cause a "wide swath of inflammation" and excessive blood clotting.

RELATED: This Common Sleep Habit Could Raise Heart Attack and Stroke Risk by 26%, New Study Finds.

The takeaway:

Increasing research shows how the COVID-19 virus can negatively affect heart health. Many of these findings cite inflammation caused by the infection as the source of these cardiovascular issues.

A study published this week found that the "extreme inflammatory response" brought on by COVID can lead to plaque buildup in the coronary arteries, thereby increasing the risk of heart attack and stroke.

In speaking with the AHA, Nisha Viswanathan, MD, director of the long COVID program at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, shared that one of your best lines of defense is to get vaccinated for COVID-19: "It really does seem to be highly protective."

She also advises "controlling your cardiovascular risk factors," such as high blood pressure, diabetes, or other chronic medical conditions: "It will all decrease your risk."
