ALDI has wowed shoppers by slashing the price of their tasty Cadbury’s Easter eggs down to just £1.45.
The bargain supermarket has announced a range of “egg-stra special treats” on their seasonal chocolate with less than a month left to go until Easter.

Aldi‘s deals have seen a number of eggs up for sale ranging from medium sizes all the way up to the ultimate chocolatey treats.
The cheapest deals are on the smaller Cadbury’s eggs such as the Freddo, Mini Eggs or Giant Buttons with them scanning at tills for just £1.45.
For £3.45, shoppers can bag up a number of large eggs.
The Twirl, Creme Egg, Giant Buttons, Mini Eggs options are all available in store.
Luxury eggs are also up for sale with Aldi stocking two “Ultimate Eggs” from Cadbury’s.
The Mini Eggs and Fruit and Nut options are both scanning for £12.95.
Both Tesco and Sainsbury’s are selling the same eggs for £15 or more with Morrisons and Asda also setting shoppers back extra.
Even Waitrose‘s special offers have only reduced the ultimate offerings down to £13.
Alongside the traditional eggs, Aldi are also offering sweet treats for a discounted price.
The popular Creme Eggs are selling for £2.85 for a pack of five – totalling out to just 59p per egg.
RIVAL SUPERMARKET EGG DISCOUNTS
A number of other retailers have recently cut their egg prices, and some are also providing multi-buy offers.
Asda has several deals on Easter eggs at the moment, making it a great option for value especially if you want to stock up.
You can buy four eggs from a selected range for £11.96 working out as £2.99 an egg, and this includes the Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons egg, 195g.
You can also buy any two eggs from a selected range for £8.98 working out as £4.49 an egg, including the Cadbury Dairy Milk and Caramel egg, 245g.
Morrisons also has offers of its own, cutting the price of selected medium sized Cadbury Easter eggs from £4 to £2.50 for More Card holders.
The deal includes Twirl, 198g, Creme Egg, 195g, and Mini Eggs, 193g, and is the cheapest we could find these sized eggs at the moment, making it a bargain well worth stocking up on ahead of Easter.
It’s not strictly Cadbury’s but Terrys Chocolate Orange egg is also included in the promotion.
As part of the deal you can get eggs for as little as £1.35.And depending on which Easter egg you choose, there are savings of up to £5.50 per egg.
Tesco is also currently offering customers almost a third off Easter favourites from Cadbury.
It’s part of a wider promotion that also covers selected eggs from Lindt and Raffaello.

You’ll need a Clubcard to take advantage of the discounts and you can get a Cadbury Creme Egg 5 Pack 200G, for £3 down from £3.50.
