For almost 30 years, One Piece has reigned supreme mainly because of the enchanting storyline that has kept the fans glued to the series. It has consistently added thrill and adventure into the narrative and has created the element of mystery throughout multiple storylines. And while some of those mysteries have been solved, there are still some that need to be disclosed.

However, as One Piece has entered into the final saga, Eiichiro Oda is obliged to reveal every mystery before reaching the final fight. And fans expect that some of these mysteries will be revealed in the ongoing Elbaph arc, as it is one of the most important arcs in the entire series.
There are five major mysteries that have some kind of connection to the Elbaph arc and thus are expected to be disclosed by the time the arc ends and the next phase of the final saga begins in One Piece.
1. The man marked by flames
When the Wano arc ended, Eustass Kid, who was one of Luffy’s allies at the time, revealed that the man marked by flames, also known as the man with burn scars, carries the secret to the next phase of the race to find the One Piece treasure and reach closer to the title of Pirate King.
Later on, the man marked by flames was also mentioned by the Blackbeard Pirates when they were having a conversation with Aokiji. The Blackbeard Pirates pointed out that the man marked by flames had the last road poneglyph, and he is most likely working for the World Government.

Until now, the man marked by flames has been a mystery, but there is a big possibility that he might make an appearance in Elbaph. This is because Eustass Kid was the one searching for him, and the first place he came to was Elbaph in One Piece, where he was later defeated by Shanks.
2. Joy Boy’s loss to Imu and the Celestial Dragons
A lot of major details about Joy Boy were revealed during the announcement made by Dr. Vegapunk during the Egghead Island arc. It was revealed that he was the first pirate in the One Piece world and also waged a war against someone during the Void Century, which led to him being defeated.

While Joy Boy’s opponents were not specified, it is safe to assume that it was none other than Imu and the rest of the Celestial Dragons, as they were the ones who changed the history of the One Piece world. However, the intriguing aspect of the war is that it is still going on.
There is a possibility that fans will learn about this war and Joy Boy’s loss because one of Vegapunk’s satellites, Lillith, came to Elbaph along with the Straw Hat Pirates. Not only that, but she is also trying to revive Vegapunk and bring him back, which could lead to the more detailed revelation about Vegapunk’s announcement.
3. Monkey D. Dragon’s powers and abilities
One of the biggest mysteries of One Piece is Luffy’s father, Monkey D. Dragon, who is also the commander of the Revolutionary Army. Dragon has had very few appearances within the One Piece storyline. And because of this, not much is known about his past or his powers.
However, considering the fact that Kuma has been saved and is currently being treated on Elbaph, there is a chance that Dragon might sail to Elbaph in order to look for one of his oldest friends in One Piece. If this happens, fans will finally get to see Dragon within the central storyline.

Not only that, as battle situations are currently brewing on Elbaph, he might just indulge in and help his son against the members of the God’s Knights, who are also his enemies. If this happens, fans will finally get to see Dragon’s powers that have been a One Piece mystery since his introduction.
4. Nefertari D. Lili’s betrayal
During the Levely meeting, when Imu captured Nefertari D. Cobra and questioned him about Nefertari D. Lili, he revealed some big details about the mysterious One Piece character. He pointed out that out of the 20 Celestial Dragons, she was the only one who betrayed them, and it resulted in the release of the poneglyphs to the whole world.

Not only that, but it was also revealed that she carried the Will of D. and was most likely killed by Imu because of her betrayal. As of now, Lili is one of the most important characters from the past in One Piece, and the disclosure about her storyline would help in making sense of other things as well.
Thus, it is possible that Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates might learn about Lili, her connection to Imu, her release of poneglyphs, and the secret of the Void Century that the World Government has been hiding for so long.
5. The mystery of Laugh Tale
As the Straw Hat Pirates have all the road poneglyphs except the last one, it is safe to assume that their next big destination will possibly be Laugh Tale, the final island of the race which currently holds the One Piece treasure. It is one of the biggest mysteries of the One Piece storyline.

Not only does it hold the One Piece treasure, it is also the last piece in the mystery of the Void Century and, thus, the biggest trouble for the World Government. The Straw Hat Pirates are already in the final phase, and from here on, the most logical way to travel would be to reach Laugh Tale.
If they do find the man marked by flames in Elbaph and manage to get their hands on the final road poneglyph, nothing can stop them from reaching Laugh Tale and then going to war with the World Government to save the One Piece world.
