The heat is rising, and that’s the only way it should be, as Fire Force Season 3 gears up for its upcoming release. The second season of the anime aired in 2020. Since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for the next and final installment of the series. The wait is over as the final season is scheduled for an April 5 release.
Season 3 will air in split cours, which means that the story will conclude next year when the second cour of the anime releases. Considering how it’s been five years since the last season aired, it’s time to brace ourselves for Fire Force’s return.

The story ended on a heartbreaking cliffhanger with Soichiro Hague’s death. It shook everyone including Company 8. Now it’s time for them to strike back. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming anime, along with what the story entails from here on.
Everything you need to know about Fire Force Season 3
Fire Force Season 3 is scheduled for an April 5 release on Crunchyroll. The final episode of the previous season marked the end of the Stigma Arc. The story in season 3 will pick up from the Obi’s Rescue Arc, which begins from chapter 175 of the manga. Studio David Production will continue to handle the animation production of the anime.
Tatsuma Minamikawa is the director in charge with Sei Tsuguta overseeing the series composition. The opening theme is ‘High Flame’ by Queen Bee and the ending theme is ‘Urusiren’ by Umeda Cypher. This season is also the final season of the anime and will air in split cours.
The first cour begins this April, whereas the second cour is scheduled for January 2026. The hype is already through the skies, but the new trailer added to the excitement. It gave us a glimpse of what to expect from Season 3. And, one thing is clear Fire Force’s comeback will do justice to the five-year-long wait.
The fire of rescue, revenge, and a confirmed connection with Soul Eater

The trailer of Fire Force season 3 shot up the excitement significantly and there’s clearly a lot to look forward to. Starting with the tease about Fire Force’s connection with Soul Eater. The moon from Soul Eater was shown, which once again confirms that there’s a canon connection between the two universes. The most shocking aspect of the trailer was Captain Burns.
It’s apparent that Captain Burns has switched sides, which sparks curiosity about his motivation and his role in the upcoming season. Considering how the next arc is titled ‘Obi’s Rescue Arc’, seeing Obi’s capture in the trailer wasn’t as surprising. Before Shinra and Company defeat (hopefully) the White Clad, we might get a proper exploration of their individual stories and motivations.

This will be a great emotional addition to the final showdown. Speaking of the conclusive battle, the fight sequences look absolutely stunning. Season 3 is a battle of revenge for Hague’s and many other deaths, Sho’s rescue, adrenaline-inducing fights, and so much more. It’s time to lock in or do a final marathon of the previous seasons before we join Shinra for his final mission.
Fire Force Season 3 will start airing on Crunchyroll on April 5.
