The Beckham family is already starting to celebrate David Beckham’s birthday. After all, the soccer legend will turn the big 5-0 next month, and that (apparently) calls for lots of [black tie] pre-parties.
Most recently, David Beckham and his wife Victoria Beckham seemed to enjoy a high-end evening with their family. The men stepped out in tuxes and the women were glowing in gowns. Most notably, we couldn’t take our eyes off the power couple’s 13-year-old daughter Harper. The teen has a serious case of “13 going on 30,” because she looks so grown up in her silky slip dress. It’s a timeless style that she turns to again and again, so we weren’t surprised to see her kick off her dad’s birthday season this way.
What did surprise us was her hairstyle. The young fashion icon was rocking loose curls in a photo from the night, and it’s a total deviation from her normally straight locks.
“What a way to begin the first of many birthday celebrations for @davidbeckham, surrounded by friends and family x Kisses from Miami! 🇺🇸,” Victoria captioned a carousel of pictures from the evening.
In the opening shot, David and Victoria stand on a modern staircase while their kids make a V formation in front of them. Harper, her brother Romeo Beckham, and his girlfriend Kim Turnball stand in front of Victoria, and Cruz Beckham and his girlfriend Jackie Apostel stand in front of his dad.
Victoria and David’s son Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz were notably absent, but we bet they will make it to another celebration before David’s birthday on May 2.
We have to imagine there will be a lot of emotional tributes when the. day. rolls around. When Harper turned 13 over the summer, her proud parents were totally in their feels when they honored their youngest on Instagram.
“Happy 13th Birthday to my beautiful little girl 🩷,” David captioned his post. “Daddy is so proud of you, you have grown up to be a kind, generous & a beautiful young lady with the most amazing heart & the most amazing smile that we all love so so much 🩷 … your [sic] my world 🌍,” he continued.
Given their close bond, we bet she will have some equally sweet things to say about her dad.
