The anime world has one superior battle after another where villains are getting smashed left and right. The one hero who is at the top of the food chain is probably Saitama, who just needs to land a single punch to destroy his opponents. But Black Clover is not too far away in the game.
If the most disrespectful anime fight is the topic, then one has to mention Black Clover‘s Mereoleona and her battle against Raia. While series like One Piece or Bleach have some of the top-rated fights, Black Clover‘s lioness is not lagging behind either.
Mereoleona literally shut down Raia in a battle
Raia is an elf and an apostle of Sephirah. He appeared in the Eye of the Midnight Sun Encounter arc of Black Clover. His battle with Mereoleona Vermillion occurs at the hideout of the Eye of the Midnight Sun. Raia’s most notable trait is his imitation magic, which allows him to copy the magic of others.
Raia is an otherwise extremely powerful mage but was unfortunately met with the beastly captain, Mereoleona Fuegoleon, as his match. Mereoleons is ruthless, to say the least, and is one of the most powerful and daunting characters in Black Clover. Needless to say, she makes mincemeat out of Raia.
During the fight, Raia uses a variety of spells to battle Mereoleona, but unfortunately, none of them work. Out of desperation, he uses the most powerful water spell he can use, Tainted Culvert Wyrm. But as the resulting water beast attacked Mereoleona, she simply created two arms with her flames and shut the wyrm’s mouth as if she were gently parenting a dog.
Black Clover‘s Mereoleona is the queen everyone deserves
Mereoleona uses fire magic. Thus, logically speaking, she should be weak against water magic, which is the same route of thinking that Raia followed to battle her. Unfortunately for him, Mereoleona simply does not care what she gets attacked with; she only cares about defeating her enemies.
Even though Raia kept attacking her with every type of magic spell possible, all belonging to different elements and styles, Mereoleone blocked all of them without even batting an eyelid. Water magic, ice magic, wind magic, literally nothing works on her and she just kept asking for more.
This is probably the biggest disrespectful fight in Black Clover. Raia was clearly overpowered by Mereoleona, and the captain got to show her full might against him. She simply toyed with him till he would be out of powers to use on her, a dirty little move that Black Clover fans will love till the end of time.
