Crunchyroll has announced that the upcoming Demon Slayer film will be available in the United States and the United Kingdom’s theaters starting September 12, 2025. The movie will be available in both English dub and subbed formats. The delay in the release is probably to ensure that the official English dub is available by the time the movie is released in Western countries.
Thus, the movie will first start rolling out in Southeast Asian markets in August, after which it will conquer the Western audience beginning in September. With the massive popularity of Demon Slayer, the Infinity Castle movie will be in much demand. Any illegal releases are bound to sell like hotcakes. Even if not everyone watches movies like that, at least some portion of the audience is bound to get lured in, which will ultimately end up affecting sales.
Additionally, people love to talk about their recent watches on social media, which will create an environment full of spoilers. It is almost next to impossible to save oneself from spoilers of such a popular series for two entire months. Spoilers would spread all over Reddit, X, and other platforms like wildfire, and there are next to no effective measures to stop them from spoiling one’s experience.
