Sean “Diddy” Combs is in serious trouble. Although he keeps insisting he’s not guilty of any of the things he is being accused of, new allegations are making things only difficult for the rapper to prove otherwise.
He’s already facing a trial for s-x trafficking and racketeering, plus a growing list of lawsuits accusing him of abuse, manipulation, and drug-fueled exploitation. He’s called it all a money grab, but with new claims and evidence popping up almost daily, it is getting harder for him to escape the mess.
Another club, another scandal, what’s Diddy being accused of now?
Jay-Z and Diddy were often seen hanging out over the years, but when push came to shove, Jay-Z made it clear, they were never really friends, just business acquaintances.
That didn’t stop Diddy from spending time at Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club in Manhattan, a once-popular spot that’s now closed. And now, that very club is at the center of a disturbing lawsuit. A woman has accused Diddy of drugging and s-xually assaulting her in the club’s bathroom.
According to her lawsuit, (via Vulture) he followed her into a stall with his pants unzipped while his bodyguard stood outside, allegedly aware of what was happening. She managed to escape when someone else walked in, distracting him just long enough for her to get away.
The lawsuit, filed on February 28, is just one of more than 50 legal cases piling up against the rapper. As accusations continue to mount, the storm surrounding Diddy only gets bigger.
Deny, deny, deny is Diddy’s defense strategy!
The number of accusations against Diddy is honestly shocking, and a little scary. Despite this, he has denied every lawsuit and pleaded not guilty to the charges that have landed him in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center since his arrest on September 16, 2024.
It all started in November 2023 when Cassie Ventura filed a $30 million lawsuit against Diddy, accusing him of r-pe and years of abuse. The case settled quickly, but it opened the floodgates. Soon, more women and men came forward, alleging horrifying incidents spanning decades. From drugged drinks to violent assaults, the accusations piled up, over 50 lawsuits and counting.
Some claim he preyed on aspiring artists, others say he ran s*x-trafficking parties, and the above-mentioned incident wasn’t the first time that brought Jay-Z’s name to the mess. Documentaries like The Fall of Diddy are now exposing his alleged dark past. Meanwhile, Diddy denies everything.
Diddy’s legal team, as usual, has also dismissed the 40/40 Club allegations as completely false, stating that the growing number of lawsuits won’t change the fact that he has never engaged in s-xual assault or trafficking.
They argue that many of these claims are from anonymous individuals taking advantage of the legal system, especially with the deadline for New York’s Gender-Motivated Violence Act approaching. His attorneys believe these last-minute lawsuits lack merit and insist that he will ultimately prove his innocence in court. He is set to go on trial on the 5th of May this year.
