Nigerian media personality Daddy Freeze has fired back at Ghanaian relationship coach Counsellor George Lutterodt over his controversial claim that any man who has never cheated is simply poor.
Responding to Lutterodt’s assertion, Daddy Freeze dismissed the idea that faithfulness is tied to financial status.
“Being faithful has nothing to do with finances, abi how una see am o,” he stated, suggesting that loyalty in relationships is a personal choice rather than a consequence of wealth or poverty.
Counsellor Lutterodt, known for his often controversial takes on relationships and marriage, recently stirred debate when he insisted that cheating and divorce are inevitable parts of marriage.
He argued that if a husband has never cheated, it is only because of financial constraints, not moral discipline. “There are two things you should expect in marriage: cheating and divorce. They are part of marriage.
“If your husband has not cheated on you yet, it is because of financial problems. Don’t think you’re the holiest husband. A man who has not cheated yet is poor. Money answers all things,” he claimed during an interview on GHOne TV.
Using billionaire Elon Musk as an example, Lutterodt emphasized the power of money in shaping decisions and influence, suggesting that financial strength often determines a person’s actions.
“What is the role of Elon Musk in the American Constitution? What is he doing when it comes to the Cabinet? Money. So when you’re poor, you speak loosely,” he argued, reinforcing his stance that financial capacity plays a role in infidelity.
He went on to claim that cheating is a natural part of marriage and that no partner can completely stop the other from straying. “Cheating is a personal decision.
“You choose to do it or not, but it is a path of marriage. So when it happens, don’t commit suicide, don’t die. There is no woman on earth that can protect their husband from cheating. And there is no man who can keep a woman that is not ready to be kept,” he said.
For Lutterodt, marriage itself does not guarantee faithfulness, as staying committed is always a personal decision.
“The fact that you make her Mrs. Lutterodt does not mean that automatically she will be kept.
“It is a personal decision that she wants to be kept because no man, including myself, can satisfy any woman in the world,” he concluded.
