Love It or List It fans were shocked when it was announced beloved cohost Hilary Farr would be leaving the show. HGTV has revealed who will be replacing her in the show’s new season.
Who Is Replacing Hilary Farr on ‘Love It or List’?
Designer Page Turner will be replacing Hilary as David Visentin’s cohost on Love It or List It, HGTV announced in a February 2025 press release.
“In the eight newly ordered hour-long episodes, Page will go head-to-head with the series’ longtime real estate agent, David Visentin, to help homeowners who are fed up with their digs,” the press release said. “In each episode, Page will renovate their lackluster property into the home of their dreams while David searches for a new house that will better fulfill all their needs.”
Who Is Page Turner?
Page is no stranger to HGTV fans, who have seen her work her magic on Fix My Flip. The Rock the Block alum has shown off her renovation and real estate expertise on a number of shows on the network already.
“HGTV fans first came to love Page Turner on Flip or Flop Nashville and Fix My Flip and were introduced to her competitive side in two seasons of Rock the Block,” Loren Ruch, Head of Content, HGTV, said in a statement. “Her extensive background in real estate and design will be a superpower as she enters into this celebrated real estate rivalry. We cannot wait to watch her give David a run for his money.”
Page spoke out about the opportunity to cohost Love It or List It with David after Hilary’s exit from the program.
“OMGGGGG!! Family Family Family!! I can FINALLY share that …… I’m baccckk!! I’m so grateful! Thank you GOD!!” she wrote on Instagram after the news was announced in February 2025.
When Is the New Season of ‘Love It or List It’ Coming Out?
It was revealed that fans can expect the new season of Love It or List It to premiere in the summer of 2025. An exact premiere date has yet to be revealed.
Why Did Hilary Farr Leave ‘Love It or List It’?
This will mark the first season without Hilary after announcing her exit from the program after 19 seasons in December 2023.
“I’ve given it so many years of my life,” she told People at the time of her departure. “It’s got me through hard times. It’s got the audiences through hard times. It has evolved into a mainstay of people’s lives and it’s been incredibly gratifying. But now it’s time for me to move on and meet new challenges.”
In a subsequent interview with Vulture, Hilary explained why she was leaving the show.
“It was becoming boring, and I don’t want to be bored,” she told the outlet in December 2023.
She said that she will continue to focus on her other show, Tough Love with Hilary Farr.
“We decided to do the next, and my final, season of Love It or List It back in Toronto. Doing that and Tough Love back-to-back, I realized how much more meaningful the latter was to me because it was much more personal and driven by a true need,” she said. “There was no competitiveness in it, there was no aggression or contentiousness, which is part of the formula of Love It or List It because it is a competition, ultimately. That kind of show doesn’t always bring the best out in people, just by virtue of what it is. I’ve always loved working with David and the actual work was great, but as you say, behind the scenes, the design, the difficulty, the supply-line issues, the delays … everybody was stressed, and it just felt different. It was taking up too much of my life and it was boring.”
