Coronation Street villain reveals he’s QUIT soap and his dramatic final scenes have already aired

ONE of Coronation Street’s nastiest villains has confirmed he has QUIT the soap amid the ongoing cast exodus.

Harry Lowbridge, who has been appearing as Logan Radcliffe on the ITV soap opera, confirmed that his final scenes on the show had aired after his character attacked David Platt following the Platt house inferno.

Logan first appeared on the show last year and was introduced as one of the brothers of another recently axed character, Mason Radcliffe, played by Luca Toolan.

However, taking to Instagram today, Harry confirmed that he would no longer be appearing on the show for the time being amid a difficult period behind-the-scenes at the soap.

Harry wrote online alongside a snapshot of him in character as Logan: “That’s farewell to Logan… for now.”

Viewers of the soap were quick to send their congratulations to the budding soap star for his debut performance on the cobbles.

One viewer said: “You’re brilliant!! Such a good baddie.”

Another added: “All the best, you were great, hope you come back.”

Before a third posted: “The future is bright for you Harry x.”

Harry’s exit from the show comes after he previously opened up on his daily mental health battle that he faces.

He revealed online he has had his own private mental health battle whilst recording the show’s harrowing knife crime storyline which saw him knife his brother to death.

One fan asked Harry if it was “ok to not be ok”, on the platform.

In response, Harry opened up to confess: “Yes, I struggle on the daily with my mental health.”

He then issued an urgent plea to his followers to be open about their own mental health problems as he shared the importance of talking to someone about struggles.

Harry said: “Reach out to someone, whether it be family, friends or professionals.

“There’s always someone who will listen.”

Harry is the latest star to either be axed or walk away from the programme.

Sue Devaney was controversially axed from her role of Debbie Webster with Colson Smith also being given the boot as Craig Tinker.

Others to have been written out include Charlotte Jordan as Daisy Midgeley, Shelley King as Yasmeen Metcalfe, Sue Cleaver as Eileen Grimshow, Luca Toolan as Mason Radcliffe and Paddy Bever as Max Turner.

Helen Worth also quit the soap last year as Gail Platt after 50 years in the role.

It comes amid news that Corrie has had an episode AXED as a result of the cash crisis with a new soap schedule coming into play from January 2026.

ITV bosses are locked in a battle to save the cash-strapped soap.

This means that a number of stars have either been axed from or have abandoned the long-running serial drama.

Colson Smith – Craig Tinker

The character of Craig Tinker has been axed by bosses after 14 years. After he was told of the news in Autumn 2024, Colson Smith confirmed that would be written out of the show with scenes to air later this year. Craig’s on-screen mum, Beth Tinker, also left the show in the summer when actress Lisa George was written out from the role.

Sue Cleaver – Eileen Grimshaw

After 25 years playing Eileen Grimshaw, former I’m A Celebrity campmate Sue Cleaver will quit the show. The Sun on Sunday reported in January that she’s already begun to film her exit scenes. However the character will not be killed off in case Sue opts to make a return in the future.

Luca Toolan – Mason Radcliffe

Bosses decided to axe the teenage character after just 16 months after he first joined the show. Recent scenes saw Mason stabbed by his criminal brothers after his pal Dylan brought a knife in an attempt to defend him.

Sue Devaney – Debbie Webster

In November 2024, we revealed that Debbie Webster is set to be killed off after 40 years on the cobbles. The character will die as part of a heartbreaking long-running dementia storyline.

Charlotte Jordan – Daisy Midgeley

The actress became the fifth star to leave Coronation Street in just one month. We revealed that she will bow out of the ITV soap later this year after four years on-screen. Charlotte told sources that she’s hungry to see what other opportunities await.

Shelley King – Yasmeen Metcalfe

The actress has played Yasmeen Metcalfe on the cobbles for the past 11 years and we revealed in January that she finished filming her final scenes. This follows the departure of her on-screen partner Stu Carpenter.
