A SUSPECT has been arrested following the sudden “unexplained” death of a man at a Glasgow home.
Mercy crews raced to a property at Lochend Path, in Easterhouse, after the alarm was raised around 5:05am yesterday.
Cops confirmed the body of a 52-year-old man was discovered at the scene.
The force said his death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.
A 48-year-old man was arrested in connection with alleged assault and later released.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.05am on Sunday, 23 February, 2025, we were called to address in Lochend Path, Easterhouse following the sudden death of a 52-year-old man.
“The death is being treated as unexplained.
“A 48-year-old man was arrested in connection with alleged assault and later released pending further enquiries. Enquiries are ongoing.”
Forensic officers were seen scouring the area for hours yesterday.
A large police presence was spotted on the road with around five police vehicles parked on the street.
CID and forensic officers were also seen in the area as a block of flats was sealed off.
Officers cordoned off the tower block as they carried out their investigations.
