That’s why it was shocking to witness when Cena did something so disrespectful at the Elimination Chamber PPV at Rogers Centre. The warm face that once radiated hope now felt cold, making the fans wonder why, after all these years, their idol sold out to The Final Boss.
The answer lies in his Instagram handle (@johncena), which is home to random pictures that hold a deeper meaning, more than what the eyes can see. Following his actions at the Elimination Chamber, he shared a picture of Harvey Dent from the Christian Bale starrer The Dark Knight.
While ardent superhero fans know the meaning behind the picture, the ones who don’t know that the Doctor of Thuganomics was referring to one of many of Dent’s iconic quotes,

However, that’s not all because he even took to X (@JohnCena), tweeting a quote that reinforced his actions, despite the whole world shaming him for what he did.

John Cena going heel for the first time in his career was something that was never on the bucket list of any WWE fan. However, in Paul “Triple H” Levesque’s era, anything and everything is possible. As a result, while the kid inside us was crying, the adult inside us was cheering loudly as Cena busted open Rhodes in the middle of the ring.
