Lidl is selling garden gadget that’s £221 cheaper than Bosch version & perfect for keeping your patio clean this spring

LIDL is selling a practical garden gadget perfect for spring with savings of over £200 compared to a rival from Bosch.

The budget retailer’s Garden Event features many deals perfect for revamping and taking care of your outdoor space.

Lidl shoppers can bag the Parkside 20V Cordless Pressure Washer for just £29.99.

The high-pressure hose is perfect for cleaning your patio or decking and can also be used for washing the car and watering the plants.

Shoppers will race to bag the bargain with the Bosch Fontus 18V Cordless washer priced at a staggering £251 on the appliance company’s website.

We’ve done a brief comparison between the two so you don’t have to.

Perhaps one of the most key elements of the washer is the maximum pressure output; for Lidl, this is 25 bar and for Bosch, it is 20.

Up next is the different nozzles and settings available to you.

The Parkside has a handy multi-functional nozzle with six different types of spray.

Meanwhile, the Bosch appliance offers three modes – low, medium, and turbo and four spray patterns.

But there are two major differences that reveal why the price difference is so large.

First, the battery life between the two washers is vast with the Lidl version having just a 10 minute run time compared to up to 60 minutes on the Bosch.

And perhaps the most key difference is that the Bosch has a built-in 15L water tank, which the Parkside does not.

Instead, Lidl’s offering has a “self-priming function for the use of alternative water sources such as water butts, buckets, or cisterns.”

Shoppers have also said that the Parkside can connect to a main tap with the 6m hose.

Both offer buyers lightweight and portable washers with years-long warranties.

Meanwhile, Aldi is also giving Bosch a run for their money with an electric scarifier that is £120 cheaper.

How can I save money when shopping at Lidl?

Lidl reduces items at the start of the day, and the best deals can be found between 7am and 8am, when most stores open.

Shoppers can often find cooked meats, salmon fillets and breads reduced by 30% or more.

Not only does Lidl have its own range of reasonably priced alcohol, it also has its own knock-offs of branded favourites – so say cheers to its bargain booze.

Everyone knows about the “Middle of Lidl” – it’s here where you’ll find a load of random stuff you didn’t realise you needed, at decent prices.

But if you are hoping to avoid spending more than you planned, you can check what will be in the “Middle of Lidl” on the supermarket’s website in advance.

The Middle of Lidl is refreshed every Thursday and Sunday.

Shoppers can also keep tabs on what’s appearing in the “Pick of the Week” section on the Lidl website.

The discounts happen every Thursday and are usually on fruit, vegetables, and meat.

It’s always worth comparing prices to make sure you’re getting the best value for money.
