McGregor has been gearing up for a comeback for the past two years after recovering from his leg injury. He has long been hyping fans up for a boxing match against the Paul brothers, which would reportedly net him a huge payout of $250 million (via Forbes). However, it is unlikely that the match would happen.

Comparing his single-night payday to the entire card’s payout of last week’s Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev boxing match, McGregor claimed he earned more in a single day through purse and PPV, though he did not mention a figure.
While many fans criticized the Notorious for living in the past and glorifying himself, there is no denying that he is one of the biggest draws in UFC. His bout with Khabib Nurmagomedov reportedly is the highest-selling PPV in history, earning $180 million.

Owing to this, McGregor might also get an incredible payout, that could rival what he claimed to have earned at UFC 264.
Going by McGregor’s claims, he would have earned more than $32 million in a single night through fight purse and pay-per-view shares. Fanside MMA reported at the time that McGregor received a base salary of $5 million (with $1.5 million for Poirier) and earned almost $18 million through PPV shares alone. The portal reported his payout at $23 million.
However, McGregor’s latest claims indicate that he had a much bigger payout than some movie stars had in the entire year. Will Smith, who delivered a hit with Bad Boys: Ride or Die, was reportedly paid $25 million for the film and was his highest paycheck in the franchise (via ScreenRant).
While it was initially reported that Brad Pitt and his co-star George Clooney were paid $35 million each for their roles in the Apple TV+ film Wolfs, Clooney dismissed the reports and said that the figures were off by millions (via Deadline). However, the figure still puts Conor McGregor’s UFC 264 salary in the ballpark.
