FORMER boss Phillipe Clement famously lamented Rangers’ injury list when he arrived at Ibrox.
But the crock curse isn’t limited to Ibrox, or the Gers’ training centre it seems.

Zak Lovelace (left) is also out until the summer, his boss Alex Neil has confirmed[/caption]
Several stars who have left the Light Blues have been struck down with serious fitness issues this season – and they’ve mounted up in the past month.
And SURGED in the last week.
James Sands and Borna Barisic were crocked within days of one another earlier this month.
Then Scott Wright suffered a serious knee injury playing for Birmingham at the weekend – ruling him out until the summer.
Now another TWO former Ibrox stars in the skyBet Football League have joined him on the treatment table for the rest of the season.
Goalkeeper Jak Alnwick won’t feature for Cardiff again this term after tearing his hamstring.
The keeper was forced to play through the pain barrier in his side’s 1-1 draw with Plymouth as the Bluebirds had used all of their substitutes when he was hurt.
And Zak Lovelace has also been ruled out until next season by Millwall boss Alex Neil.
The young striker signed for his old side in the January transfer window – after injury wrecked his first-team ambitions at Ibrox.
He made it through the ranks to breakthrough into the first-team but was stretchered off after Steven Davis gave him his first ever top-team start in October 2023.
After overcoming his hamstring problem he only featured as a sub under Philippe Clement barring a Scottish Cup start against Fraserburgh at the start of this year.
He then moved back to London – but his injury problems followed him south too.
Lovelace has gone under the knife on a knee problem – delaying his second debut at The Den.
At his pre-match press conference ahead of an FA Cup clash with London rivals Crystal Palace, Millwall boss Alex Neil said: “I don’t think we’ll see Zak this season.
Ex-Gers crock-list
Since the start of February six ex-Gers have been struck down by injury and ruled out for the season
- Jak Alnwick (torn hamstring)
- James Sands (broken ankle / torn medial ligament)
- Borna Barisic (torn anterior cruciate ligament)
- Scott Wright (serious knee injury)
- Zak Lovelace (knee surgery)
“Zak had an operation just over a week ago, so he’ll probably be one for pre-season.”
While there’s been recent injury misery for ex-Gers – one is bucking the trend.
Aaron Ramsey is BACK after missing a the last six months with a torn hamstring.
The ex-Arsenal and Juventus star opened up on fears he’d LOSE HIS LEG after a horror injury earlier in the career.
