Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds just hit the legal panic button. Their legal team has officially requested a stricter protective order for certain documents related to their ongoing case. Now, here’s the juicy part—it’s not just any protective order. They want an “Attorney’s Eyes Only” rule, which means only the lawyers can see the materials, not even the parties involved in the case.
According to reports from E! News, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ legal team submitted a letter on February 20, requesting certain materials to be categorized as “Attorney’s Eyes Only”. Translation? Whatever’s in those documents is seriously sensitive, and needs to be protected from getting publicized. This request was filed after Lively’s team read a second letter citing how the actress and several other witnesses received threats, as the lawsuit publicized them.
[The category will apply to material] of such a highly confidential and personal, sensitive, or proprietary nature that the revelation of such is likely to cause a competitive, business, commercial, financial, or privacy injury to the producing party. [It will also apply to] high-profile individuals, to whom a duty of confidentiality is owed.
Further, reflecting on the backlash and threats received online, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ team filed this request for additional protections. Not to mention, this request also appeared after Lively filed a revised version of her complaint against Justin Baldoni and his Wayfarer Studios, stating that there are two women who would like to testify against the actor and how he made them uncomfortable on set.

Now, while common folks might think this request for a stricter protective order is a normal thing, Candace Owens is not buying this whole drama. Therefore, taking to her podcast, she suggested that this is really a “Taylor Swift protection order” in disguise. In other words, tables have turned and the whole Game of Thrones dragon who was supposed to protect Lively is now getting protected by the actress.
In simple words, Candace Owens believes that while Blake Lively had previously bragged about being protected by friends (possibly Taylor Swift) who were her dragons, is now having to salvage her dragons’ reputation amid litigation. Owens claimed that since Swift is on the verge of getting exposed and dragged into the lawsuit, Lively is trying to act as her unofficial legal bodyguard.
It’s very obvious who she’s referring to in all of these filings and it’s just pointedly ridiculous that she’s pretending that the nature of these filings have anything to do with s*xual harassment or s*xual abuse, rather has to do with her trying to protect Taylor Swift.
I see right through this… I’m not calling it anything different, because this is a Taylor Swift protection order. She’s a very powerful person, it is her who will have her brand hurt. It is the only relationship that they want to actually protect…
