Epstein’s List Actors and Celebs: Bob Weinstein Has a Bigger Problem to Worry About Than Harvey Weinstein’s Fraud Claims

Harvey Weinstein’s brother, Bob Weinstein, might need to watch his back while he deals with the lawsuit filed against him.

As promised, President Donald Trump released the “first phase” of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein and his contact list. While the 200-page long binder did not provide any breaking news related to the Epstein List, it did unveil a few big names who had been on his contact list. From Mick Jagger and Michael Jackson to Alec Baldwin and Ivanka Trump, the documents only confirmed what the masses had been suspecting all this time.

One such name on the list was that of Bob Weinstein, film producer and the founder of Dimension Films, as well as the former co-chairman of Miramax Films and The Weinstein Company. Harvey Weinstein, now in jail, filed a lawsuit against his brother and a few others alleging financial fraud and conspiracy. However, as the government pays more and more attention to the Epstein crimes, Bob Weinstein probably has bigger fish to fry.

Bob Weinstein name-dropped in the infamous Epstein List

The documents released include Jeffrey Epstein‘s contact list, flight logs, and a whole bunch of evidence that the government has accumulated against him. In the papers, celebrities and politicians on the contact list were name-dropped, however, none of them were quite shocking.

Bob Weinstein has also been listed in the documents (via the New York Post). While it is being claimed that this isn’t the infamous “client list,” but rather just Epstein’s long list of contacts, it doesn’t really make the people mentioned look good in the public eye.

This comes at a time when Weinstein is being sued by his brother, Harvey Weinstein, for fraud and conspiracy. Yes, the same Harvey Weinstein who is currently serving two sentences in prison – 16 and 23 years.

Being named in the Epstein documents could not have come at a worse time for the younger Weinstein brother. Other names in the list include Mick Jagger, Michael Jackson, Alec Baldwin, Ethel Kennedy, Andrew Cuomo, Naomi Campbell, Courtney Love, David Koch, late Sen. Ted Kennedy, Ralph Fiennes, Kerry Kennedy, Alan Dershowitz, John Kerry, Dustin Hoffman, Jon Huntsman, Ivana Trump, Ivanka Trump, and model Liz Hurley.

Why is Harvey Weinstein suing his brother?

While in prison, Weinstein has filed a lawsuit against not only his brother, but also The Weinstein Company’s executive David Glasser, as well as a few others. Why? Well, as per the lawsuit, the accused tricked him into guaranteeing a $45 million loan from AI International Holdings in order to support their company.

Now, Weinstein is claiming that the money was never put into good use for the company but was rather used for “personal use, unauthorized bonuses, and unrelated financial dealings.” (via THR).

According to his lawyer, Imran H. Ansari, Bob Weinstein, Glasser, and the others got to reap the benefits of the money while his client was left to deal with the aftermath.

He stated,

As he claims in his complaint, Harvey Weinstein was deceived by those closest to him, and secured a $45 million dollar loan under the pretense of saving The Weinstein Company. While Harvey personally guaranteed the loan, others within The Weinstein Company enriched themselves and strategically undermined him, leaving him ‘holding the bag’ of debt while ‘lining their pockets’ when the company was in crisis.

The lawsuit also states that Weinstein was left responsible for $30 million + interest, while his younger brother and Glasser negotiated with AI International Holdings to free themselves from any liability.
