Rangers triumphed 3-2 at Celtic Park in what was another thrilling Old Firm contest.
Barry Ferguson’s side took a two-goal lead before the Celts levelled things up in dramatic fashion.
But in an incredible finish, Hamza Igamane fired a stunning winner into the top corner to send the travelling Gers fans wild.
The wild celebrations, however, weren’t just confined to the away section at Parkhead.
Gers winger Cerny, who had been substituted, was spotted racing down the touchline spraying water from a bottle, seemingly towards the Hoops fans sitting in the section just next to the dugout.
That sparked fury among the Hoops fans with police and security being forced to step in in an attempt to calm things down.
Rangers legend Ally McCoist has seen the funny side in the incident.
The video, which has gone viral, was discussed on talkSPORT Breakfast with the former striker joined by Andy Townsend and presenter Shebahn Aherne, a big Celtic fan.
Immediately bursting into laughter at the start of the segment, McCoist told Shebahn: “You’re so lucky. My plan was when I left the hotel at the back of five I had a skooshy bottle for you.
“I was going to bring up a skooshy bottle and give you the whole lot!
“I thought ‘how will she take it?’”
Shebahn, also seeing the funny side, joked: “That would’ve been good chat from you for a change!”
McCoist added: “As you say Shebahn, it’s the ultimate in housery.”
The cheeky Gers legend than turned his attention to one of the Celtic fans on the receiving end of the spraying water.
He said: “Give us a call, have you dried out? This is the question.”
McCoist tried to then turn the focus of the conversation to the game, but Townsend wanted to dig deeper into what had gone on!
After McCoist assessed how well Rangers had played, the former Republic of Ireland international said: “He must’ve grabbed the bottle that’s completely full.”
McCoist joked: “I think he’s definitely recharged it! I think two minutes prior to it he’s went around four or five bottles, top it up.”
After speculating what might’ve gone on in the lead-up to the incident, McCoist revealed how one of his sons had drawn his attention to the video.
And he simply couldn’t stop watching it.
He added: “It was my young one who spotted it, he spotted it and I watched it about 411 times. I could not believe it.”
“The best of it is, he goes back into the dugout and he’s waving.”
Whether or not any action is coming Cerny’s way remains to be seen.
That was also on Townsend’s mind as he asked: “Is something going to happen?”
But McCoist couldn’t resist a further cheeky comment as he answered the question.
He said “I’d have thought so, I mean, knighthood I’d have thought, is that what you mean?”
“I like the sound of that. Sir Vaclav Cerny. It’s got a nice ring to it.”
