MARRIED At First Sight star Lacey Martin has made a bombshell claim about her split with Nathan Campbell as things turn sour.
The reality star shocked E4 viewers after ex husband Nathan claimed she told him to “fake” their romance for fame and “magazine deals”.

The revelation was made at the explosive reunion on Monday, as they exes came face-to-face for the first time since their bitter split.
But now Lacey has revealed the “real reason” she split from Nathan which was edited out of the episode.

The star said it was the final straw as she hit out at Nathan for “not taking accountability” for letting her down when she needed him.
Lacey exclusively told The Sun: “In the scenes that were cut I told Nathan ‘we didn’t split up because of messages’. It’s not the reason we split up.
“I messaged him saying that maybe we should just be friends if he couldn’t wish me luck on what was a really important day for me.
“I was shocked and hurt and told him I’d never do that to him.
“He knows how important the Race For Life was for me, he didn’t take accountability for not wishing me luck.”
The heartbroken star added: ” But he exited on the first hurdle and didn’t try to work on our relationship.”
Some viewers were left were quick to call out Lacey for faking her feelings for Nathan after their emotional showdown.
During their explosive row, Nathan slammed his ex for asking for a “showmance”.
Nathan even whipped out his phone and read one of the texts from Lacey, asking for him to fake the relationship.
Some E4 viewers are convinced Lacey refusal to deny it, proves she did say the showmance comments.
One wrote: “Lacey is fake. This whole conversation just confirms it . Trying to save face and has not denied that she said that to him.”
A second posted: “Lacey was definitely shocked Nathan has receipts and is telling the truth.”
A third pointed out: “Shes not denying it tho..”
During the showdown, Lacey was left with tears as she admitted they both contributed to the split.
But Nathan claimed she was the reason for the breakdown of their ‘marriage, saying she had “changed” as a person after the show.
Nathan said: “Lace, I didn’t come here for a showmance,” leaving Lacey shocked.
She replied: “Neither did I,” as Nathan explained: “That’s not how I felt. The impression that I got after the experiment…”
Lacey interjected: “The impression?! You blocked me.”
Nathan said: “Why did I block you? As soon as you finished the experiment, you turned into a completely different person.”
Spilling the tea
MAFS star Nathan recently told The Sun why he and Lacey split.
Shortly after their break-up was revealed, Lacey spoke to The Sun and told us that she feared Nathan was “faking” the romance the whole time, just for the cameras.
However, now Nathan has broken his silence on the break-up and revealed that he is in fact the one who has been left “brokenhearted”.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, he said: “Things weren’t the same off the show, it was very different.
“I’d always have to go there, she wouldn’t come to see me – those kind of arguments. I’m not too sure, things were quite different after the show.
“When you’re together, you’re 100 per cent in the same place.
“But after the experiment there was a big distance there.”
Asked who’s idea it was to break-up, Nathan said: “She decided, she said let’s just be friends.”
Speaking about how he was feeling post break-up, Nathan said: “I’m scared to date again, I want to but my hearts still broken.
“I definitely do want to date again but there’s no one yet.”
