Holland & Barrett, known for its health foods, vitamins, and protein shakes, already boasts hundreds of stores nationwide.

Now, the British-based firm has launched its latest shop in the country’s busiest train station.

The store will stock the brand’s newest range of health and wellness solutions, including their sports and food lines, crafted by expert nutritionists and chefs with a focus on supporting gut health.

And shoppers can bag 20 per cent off these ranges until March 24.

The store also features an in-house women’s health coach, offering “a deeper level of expertise and confidential support on hormone health.”

Network Rail staff took to social media to celebrate the opening, writing: “Something new at Glasgow Central.

“Holland & Barrett has arrived, bringing healthy snacks, vitamins, and more to the station.

“Pop in next time you’re passing through.”

Victoria Morrison, Holland & Barrett’s Regional Manager, said: “The team and I are thrilled to be opening our new Glasgow Central Station store.

“This is our third H&B in the city centre, complementing our flagship Buchanan Street and Queen Street stores.

“Being one of the busiest stations in the UK, this prime location will allow us to support our customers’ health and wellness needs when they’re on the go.

“Our five expert store colleagues will be on hand to offer the best health products and wellness advice, and we look forward to guiding the community through their wellness journeys.”

Elsewhere, a popular Spanish restaurant which closed its doors in Glasgow two years ago is back.
