A UNIQUE job opportunity has come up on a stunning Scots isle where there are more cows than people.
An iconic cafe on the remote Ulva has just been taken over by new, celebrity owners.

The Boathouse, renowned for its fresh local seafood and divine home baking, will be opening for the season next month.
And it’s now being run by Designing the Hebrides favourite Banjo Beale and his husband Rohan Christopher, known as Ro.

Banjo posted on Instagram: “We’re embarking on a new little adventure, taking over the iconic Boathouse and we’re looking for friendly folk to work with us in the cafe this season on the Isle of Ulva in the Hebrides.
“You might be a cook, baker, coffee-maker or just a hard worker with a sense of adventure.”
The telly star says the gorgeous island has more cows than people.
Ulva is a community-owned island off the west coast of Mull – where Banjo, also a judge on Scotland‘ Home of the Year shwo, lives.
The island has been inhabited for over 7,000 years and is now hoe to less than 20 people.
There are no roads on the idyllic isle – but you can get a ferry over from Mull by simply flipping a sign which the ferryman spots and heads to pick folk up.
If the slow pace of life – but fast pace of work – suits, it’s the ideal job.
The Boathouse team said: “We’re looking for an extra pair of hands to join our busy, fast-paced seafood restaurant on the quaint Isle of Ulva for the season.
“With stunning ocean views, it will be a beautiful place to work.
“Starting around April and running until September, we need someone to help out during the lunch trade.
“The role is flexible based on your strengths: we’re looking for someone who loves cooking, baking, serving customers, or a mix of everything.
“You’ll be working alongside two other team members. Experience is great but not essential – if you’re keen, quick to learn, and enjoy a lively, fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear fro you.
“Moist importantly, you’ve got to be up for a laugh! We work hard, but we keep things fun and friendly, it’s island life after all!”
The job is 20 to 30 hours per week and there is accommodation available.
