It’s the age-old debate in football – which club is the biggest in Britain?
Well the BBC has you covered as they’ve carried out an in-house poll to get to the bottom of the massive debate.
Celtic and Rangers are two global brands and it’s the Hoops who are the world’s most successful club – after overtaking Gers’ trophy haul of 118 last season.
Liverpool are next in line but have only clinched just over HALF the the number of trophies both Scottish sides have won in their long successful history.
The Reds have won 69 pieces of silverware in total, while Manchester United are breathing down their necks with 68.
But silverware is just one of the metrics used in these latest findings.
The BBC have also taken revenue into account, along with social media presence, stadium capacity and league positions among other criteria.
250 members of staff were asked to deliver their verdict by producing a list of their top 10 sides in the UK.
And it’s Man Utd who come out on top.
Despite trailing their huge rivals in the trophy count, it’s the Red Devils who have been crowned the biggest club in the land.
Unsurprisingly it’s Liverpool who are next up, with Arsenal and Manchester City following closely behind.
And a Scottish team has made the top five, with Celtic named the biggest in Scotland.
Rangers do find themselves in the top 10 but they’re three places behind the Hoops in eighth.
Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are sixth and seventh, while Aston Villa and Newcastle United make up the list in ninth and tenth.
