The park is located just 30 minutes from Dublin city centre and a few minutes from the airport, making it an ideal spot for a day trip.
With lots of water-based activities to enjoy, it’s the perfect place to visit as Ireland welcomes its first taste of spring weather — and it will be open from May to September.
This fantastic spot’s most popular attraction is the inflatable waterslides, which feature slides, trampolines and climbing walls floating on the water.
It reads on Aqua Lough Water Park’s website: “Aqua Lough is Dublin’s only inflatable water park, and is conveniently located just minutes from Dublin Airport.
“Aqua Lough features a range of thrilling obstacles, including slides, trampolines, and climbing walls, all floating on the water.
“Safety is our top priority, and our Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) trained lifeguards are always on hand to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.”
One of the main attractions is the water obstacle course, where visitors can test their balance and race their families and friends to the finish line.
Here, visitors can climb, jump and slide through the water all while enjoying the stunning views of the surrounding park.
This experience is suitable for different ages and abilities, making it an absolute must-try for all adventure seekers.
The climbing walls are another popular spot, and there are five of them set both in and out of the water that reach up to 40 feet.
And there’s even a 140-metre zip line to try out once you have completed the climb.
What’s more, Aqua Lough has lots of different activities for younger children.
This includes a special kids’ area with smaller inflatable slides and trampolines, making it the perfect place to bring your little ones during the spring.
A WHOLE RANGE OF OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
For those who prefer staying on the ground, Aqua Lough offers a wide range of other outdoor activities.
This includes paintball where visitors are equipped with top-of-the-line gear and led by experienced instructors to play different games.
And there’s also crazy bugs — a more stable alternative to quad biking.
Here, children can test their driving skills and race around with their friends on one of the many tracks.
