Travelling via an e-hailing service can introduce passengers to a wide variety of drivers.
While some encounters are pleasant and professional, others can be downright terrifying.
A recent viral video posted on the social media platform Xiaohongshu by user 吐奶野草 highlights one such alarming experience.
Swearing while driving through traffic
In the footage, an e-hailing driver can be heard repeatedly swearing at other road users, using words such as “idiot” and “moron,” along with other offensive language.
The netizen who shared the video claimed that the driver displayed severe road rage at the end of the journey, making the ride an unsettling experience.
Speaking to WeirdKaya, he shared that he was going from Sungai Besi Salak Selatan to a café in Bukit Jalil.

Request for a route with toll
He said that the driver didn’t talk to him except for asking whether to take the route with a toll.
This question subtly suggested that the passenger would have to cover the additional cost.
That time the Waze didn’t show heavy traffic on the usual route and it was unnecessary to go through there.”
The netizen declined, stating that the route he usually takes does not require passing through a toll booth.
Following the passenger’s refusal, the driver responded sarcastically, saying, “It’s okay, just that it wasted two minutes of my life.”
When they were about to arrive at the café, where there were more cars, the driver started to swear.
