Released in May 2024, The Strangers: Chapter 1 is a pseudo-remake of the 2008 film and follows a couple who are traveling across the country but find themselves stranded in a rural town. Forced to find lodgings for the night, the unsuspecting couple become the victims of masked killers who stalk and torture them for seemingly no reason but the thrill.
