WWE has often defined itself by different eras throughout its existence. Each of these places in time represents not only the over-arching philosophy at the time, and it’s symbolized by the wrestlers who came to prominence then. There was the Rock ‘n’ Wrestling Era, the New Generation, etc. that were the themes of World Wrestling Entertainment over the years.
