One of the prominent figures from previous Avengers who was notably absent in the announced Doomsday cast was Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel. Her post-Endgame career in Marvel hasn’t been so great, with her film The Marvels becoming the lowest-grossing film in the MCU. Larson is back on her socials, and it’s good news for her fans, though not because of Captain Marvel.
Larson is not ready to talk about her future in the Captain Marvel role. However, we will be seeing her talk a lot about other things like her workout routine, what she ate, the places she visited, and her experiences. Larson is back with her social media show, Brie is Online.

Her latest Instagram post was a reel shared from London, in which she was seen playing her own version of the internet game This or That. The Room actress played a London vs Los Angeles version of the game and has got us pretty excited about what lies ahead with her social content.
Brie Larson’s latest update is not Captain Marvel-related, but it’s still exciting

Brie Larson isn’t committed to the MCU for any further projects yet, but she has been keeping herself busy over the past few months with another passion project. She made her West End debut in a modern revival of Sophocles’ Elektra, directed by Daniel Fish. The production began its run at the Duke of York’s Theatre in January and is set to wrap up with a final show on April 12.
Larson, who was rarely seen on her socials during this time, has started posting content again since March’s end. Her video on March 25 was ‘A day in my life’ video, where she shared a glimpse of her time in West End. In another video, she gave away her Elektra shirts to fans on the streets. Her latest video came just hours ago.
This means that her online show, Brie is Online, is back in full swing, and we get to see the actress talk about different aspects of her life. In the latest video, she gets to pick ‘This or That’ from between popular things in London and LA. When given the option between London tea time vs LA smoothie run, she went for the smoothie without any doubt.
She picked the West End stage door over the Hollywood red carpet, the double-decker bus over the open-top convertible cruise, and a rainy-day pub over a sunny-day beach. She went with LA’s avocado toast over London’s scones with clotted cream and preferred Shakespeare in the Park over a movie at Hollywood Forever.
She then picked London when it came to Brick Lane vintage shopping vs Melrose Avenue boutique hopping. She picked highway drive in LA over a tube ride in London. She hated a Sunday roast and hence picked a farmer’s market haul. She shared that she missed brunch at SQIRL.
She shared that she preferred hiking Runyon over walking along the Thames, explaining, “Just cause I’m sentimental right now.” She finally chose a quiet night in a London flat over a lively party in Hollywood Hills. Larson’s fans just need more such content from the actress.
Brie Larson earlier hinted at a possible return to her Marvel role

Before her absence from the Avengers: Doomsday roster, speculations arose that Brie Larson could possibly quit the role after the hate she received for both her MCU appearances. It was also suggested in the book, MCU: The Reign of Marvel Studios, that she “grew disillusioned” with her role.
However, the Lessons in Chemistry star gave a cryptic answer during an earlier interview that hinted at her possible return when asked about her future Marvel plans. Speaking to The Playlist’s Bingeworthy podcast, she shared that she had a great time with Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellani.
She further shared that she knew things that she couldn’t reveal to the public. She shared (via Yahoo! Entertainment):
I just loved being with those ladies so much… And you know, as for the future, there’s things that I know, but I can’t tell you.
Brie Larson’s The Marvels ended its theatrical run with $206 million at the box office. It is a decent enough number for any other film, not to mention that it’s the highest-grossing movie in director Nia DaCosta’s filmography. However, the budget of the film was enormously high, making it a huge box office bomb. According to Forbes, Disney made the film on a gross budget of $374 million.
The Marvels is now available to stream on Disney+.
