
A domestic violence incident in Negeri Sembilan has left a woman injured after her intoxicated husband allegedly assaulted and bit her during the early hours of the morning.
Recently, a 32-year-old woman was attacked at her home in Taman Wira Jaya, Kuala Pilah, around 3.20am on Tuesday.
According to Kuala Pilah District Police Chief, Superintendent Muhamad Mustafah Hussin, the woman was in her bedroom when her husband came home in a drunken state, as reported by Harian Metro.
He then reportedly used his hands to hit her and bit her on the shoulder, hand, and forehead, causing visible injuries.

Treated at hospital, husband arrested
Following the attack, the woman was taken to Tunku Ampuan Najihah Hospital (HTAN) for medical attention and received outpatient treatment for her injuries.
Later the same day, at approximately 12.45pm, the suspect was arrested at a convenience store in Pekan Kuala Pilah.
A urine screening conducted on the man returned negative results for drug use.
Police confirmed that the case is being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code and Section 18(A) of the Domestic Violence Act.
Superintendent Muhamad Mustafah added that investigations are still ongoing.
