AMY HUBERMAN revealed she once met a Republic of Ireland manager – without even knowing it.
The wife of Brian O’Driscoll was on The Late Late Show to promote her new film: ‘Fran The Man’.

The flick’s football-related plot led to host Patrick Kielty asking the actress if she was into football growing up.
Not only did she confirm that she wasn’t, but it parlayed into a story of meeting and having a conversation with Martin O’Neill.
The only problem was that Huberman did not actually know with whom she was speaking.
She explained: “I don’t know a lot of football players.
“[Brian and I] were at this dinner a good few years ago and we were separated and we were chatting to all these different people.
“At the end of the night, he said, ‘how did you get on?’ I said, ‘I had the loveliest night. I was chatting with the most gorgeous man.’
“I said, ‘did you know he managed a football team?’ Brian said, ‘does he? Does he really?’
“This guy was so self-deprecating and so lovely.
“The way he was describing it was like he was coaching the local dad’s on the green on a Wednesday night.
“I said, ‘I was saying to him good for you. Fair play to you. He was so passionate about it. Isn’t that great?’
“‘And he said, ‘yeah, he coaches Ireland and it’s Martin O’Neill!’
“Now that I didn’t know.”
