While Minecraft is for the whole family, it’s so important to see the world freshly through from a young perspective. A Minecraft Movie is stacked with actors to bring in the folks—Jason Momoa, Jack Black, Oscar nominee Danielle Brooks, and Jennifer Coolidge—but it’s the younger stars of the film that will best translate the wonder of the game to its wide audience of kiddos. Thankfully, director Jared Hess (of Napoleon Dynamiteand Nacho Libre fame) cast the talented Emma Myers (Wednesday) and newcomer SebastianHansen to bring the themes and heart of A Minecraft Movie to life, front and center.
