A LUCKY punter is celebrating after winning a Lotto prize worth €32,406.
The Westmeath player successfully matched five numbers plus the bonus in last night’s draw.
They purchased their quick pick ticket on the day of the draw, from The Grove Service Station, Baylough in Athlone.
The numbers for last night’s Lotto (2nd April) were: 4, 14, 19, 20, 22, 25 and the bonus was 11.
And this Saturday’s Lotto draw promises to see even bigger prizes up for grabs after the National Lottery confirmed that it will be adding an additional €1million to the Lotto Plus Raffle prize fund.
The Lotto Plus Raffle guarantees winners of €500 in every draw but on Saturday night, Lotto Plus players are set for a boost in their winnings.
By topping up the raffle prize fund by €1million, all winners of the Lotto Plus Raffle will take home the usual €500 prize PLUS share an extra €1million between them.
Spokesperson for the National Lottery, Emma Monaghan said: “Saturday’s Lotto draw is set to see players win even bigger prizes than usual with our first Lotto Plus Raffle event of the year!
“With an additional €1million in the Lotto Plus Raffle prize fund guaranteed to be shared by all Raffle winners, we are predicting each winner will receive around €10,000, depending on the number of winners.
“In our most recent shared €1million Lotto Plus Raffle, each of our players won an extra €11,495.
“All you need to do is include the Plus when you’re buying your ticket – what a great boost for our players!
“And for our latest Westmeath winner – if you’re holding the winning ticket, make sure you sign it, keep it somewhere safe, and make contact with our Prize Claims team!”
Meanwhile, a Daily Million ticket worth €1MILLION was sold in Co Cork last week.
The punter has become Ireland’s latest millionaire after winning the top prize of €1,000,000 in last Saturday’s 9pm Daily Million draw.
The winner purchased their Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw.
This win comes hot on the heels of Friday’s Daily Million Plus win, where a Dublin Player won an incredible €500,000.
The winning numbers on Saturday, March 29’s 9pm Daily Million draw were: 4, 6, 8, 11, 14, 19 and the bonus was 16.
And a Co Cavan player scooped an incredible €79,901 after matching 5 numbers and the bonus in last night’s (Saturday, 29th March) main Lotto draw.
The player purchased their Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw from Tarpey’s Supervalu, Cavan, Co. Cavan.
The winning numbers in last night’s (Saturday, 29th March) main Lotto draw were: 14, 24, 30, 34, 42, 45 and the Bonus was 19.
