After finding early success in arcades in the 1980s, Capcom has gone from strength to strength, producing many popular series like Resident Evil and Monster Hunter. Even during those peak arcade years, the Japanese company had already ported its games to Nintendo’s hardware of the time, with the likes of Ghosts ‘n Goblins and Street Fighter 2 transitioning to home consoles to much acclaim.
