Meme culture is important to fandom in the modern day. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is different, with one of the most bizarre memes concerning Thanos and Ant-Man. However, Jenna Ortega apparently had no idea about this development, and how Paul Rudd explains it to her is nothing short of hilarious.

Speaking to ComicBook for their upcoming film, Death of a Unicorn, Paul Rudd was asked if a similar strategy could be employed to take out Doctor Doom. However, given that Ortega was more than a little confused, Rudd went on to explain what exactly they were talking about.
Jenna Ortega seems to have forgotten some things about the MCU

Paul Rudd explained the infamous ‘Thanus’ theory to Jenna Ortega, who seemed to have forgotten what had been going on in the MCU about six years ago. The theory would see Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man, deciding to go inside Thanos the wrong way up, and then expand to implode him from the inside.
Ortega was slightly confused about how that would happen before Paul Rudd reminded her that his character could shrink, to which the Wednesday alum said (via ComicBook.com):
Oh, that’s right, you’re called Ant-Man!
Paul Rudd’s appearance in the Secret Wars would be interesting, given that the character might not be aware of the fact that Kang the Conqueror has been taken care of by Loki already. Doctor Doom is an antagonist who has been largely absent from the mainline MCU, which makes it a little difficult to take him seriously as the main antagonist of the Multiverse Saga. Thanos’s quest for the Infinity Stones was all over the Infinity Saga, but so far, nothing of that sort has been put in place for Doctor Doom.
How instrumental could Ant-Man and The Wasp be to Avengers: Secret Wars?

Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang was extremely important to the plot of Avengers: Endgame, given that he was the key through which the Avengers were able to undo the Snap. Given that Lang’s knowledge regarding Kang is now practically useless, it remains to be seen how he and The Wasp would factor into the story beyond screen-dressing. In particular, Hope van Dyne did not have much of a role to play in the MCU’s final chapter, so it would make sense to give her a bigger role, given that a version of the character was the founding member of the Avengers.
There is also the fact that a new team of heroes needs to be assembled for Marvel to have its flagship IP (and its biggest money maker in the last saga) back, along with the X-Men and the Fantastic Four. The Wasp, who was one of the founding members of the Avengers in the comics, might be one of the best picks for the team, along with Ant-Man, who was similarly part of the original lineup in the comics, along with The Hulk, Iron Man, and Thor.
The Death of a Unicorn hits theatres on March 28, 2025.
Avengers: Secret Wars hits theatres on May 7, 2027.
