“This saga has officially concluded,” Kylie Kelce said as her newborn daughter made her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast debut.
In the video shared via Instagram just a few hours after she and her husband, Jason Kelce, announced their fourth daughter’s birth, Kylie opened up about the name they choose for their little one.
In their announcement post, Kylie shared that her daughter was born on March 30, and her name is Finnley Anne Kelce.
“We plan to call her Finn for short,” Kylie explained in the Tuesday, April 2, video.
Why Jason and Kylie Kelce Are Only Considering ‘Gender-Neutral’ Baby Names
The now mom of four admitted her youngest didn’t have a name immediately upon arrival.
“It was the journey,” Kylie shared. “For the first 24 hours of her life, she did not have a name.”
“We had discussed names with anyone that we could trust to not share names,” Kylie continued. “We didn’t go with a single option that we had been discussing. So there’s that.”
In a previous podcast episode, Kylie told her guest, actress Kate Hudson, that she and Jason had considered naming their fourth daughter after one of Hudson’s most iconic characters, Andie Anderson, from How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.
Instead, Kylie said she and Jason went back in the archives, choosing a name that was already considered for one of her older sisters.
“The name Finn was not one of the names that we were discussing with other people, but came back around because it was a serious contender for Elliotte’s name.”

In addition to Finnley, Kylie and Jason are also parents to Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 2.
“Considering we had to name four children with the same gender, we had to run it back to the archives and borrow one from a different child,” Kylie admitted with a laugh, “and that’s what we did.”
And Finnley’s middle name is a nod to several important people in their lives.
“Her middle name is Anne, A-N-N-E,” Kylie said as she continued to break down the name.

“The people in our life that are associated with the name Anne with an E would be my dad’s mom. That was her first name, my sister’s middle name, my cousin’s middle name, my other cousin’s middle name, and Annie Elliot is actually Anne.”
Annie Elliot is a fellow member of the Philadelphia Eagles organization and wife of Eagles kicker Jake Elliott.
“We packed it all into one middle name, and I feel good about that,” Kylie noted.
And for “all the people who are going to be triggered by the fact that this name does not have two T’s. I warned you,” Kylie told her fans, many of whom defended the decision.
“No T’s but still has a double consonant like the rest!” shared a fan in the comments section.
“She got a double N though! I love it! So glad she is here!!!” another commenter added.

In the end, Kylie said that while she “totally respect(s) your opinion on the names of our children,” she doesn’t actually care what other people have to say about it, respectfully, of course.
“You’re allowed to have your own opinion, but I actually don’t care what it is, and I mean that in the most like loving and respectful way, we named them and it’s official,” Kylie said in a message to the masses.
“Also, she’s very much a Finn like She’s a cute little Finn.”
