SCOTS parents have been forced to call in the cops after raising concerns over strangers “filming their children” in playparks.
Officers have been called to several reports in parks across the country in the past week.

Two incidents in Port Glasgow and Dalmuir have been reported to the police where strangers have allegedly been taking pictures and videos of kids this week.
Shocked families have warned others on social media after their experiences.
It comes after two men, aged 27 and 29, were arrested after being spotted allegedly “sitting on a bench taking pictures and videos of children in the park” on Mother’s Day.
The alleged incident happened at around 4.45pm at the playground in Barshaw Park, Paisley.
They were both nicked and charged in connection with a breach of the peace.
The pair were due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today.
Detective Inspector David Hardie said: “I would like to thank the public for their assistance in helping trace the men.
“Enquiries have now concluded.”
Yesterday afternoon, one woman shared her experience of an incident at Coronation Park in Port Glasgow after three people started “taking photos and videos” of her children.
Cops were called in to probe the incident but no criminality was found in relation.
Officers also received a report of concern regarding a man taking pictures in a playpark in the Dalmuir area of Clydebank yesterday evening.
One worried parent shared on Facebook: “Just a warning to anyone at Dalmuir park today this creep was caught taking pictures and videos of kids.
“He was chased away from the playpark and had the audacity to sit at the bench and try to continue his behaviour.
“I have reported this to the police. I encourage any other parent that was in the park and saw this man to do the same.”
An investigation into the incident has been launched by cops.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.30pm on Tuesday, 1 April, 2025, we received a report of concern regarding a man taking pictures in a playpark in the Dalmuir area of Clydebank earlier that evening.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
