CHAMPION jockey Jack Kennedy has been ruled out for the remainder of the season.
The news comes after he suffered a major setback following his return from injury.

Just last month, Kennedy made yet another miraculous recovery from a SIXTH broken leg in time to race at Cheltenham Festival.
He broke his leg for a sixth time at Fairyhouse in November, and made a remarkable recovery to feature at the Festival.
However, he has since been sidelined again after taking a fall aboard Corbetts Cross in the Gold Cup.
The 25-year-old was due to ride several high-profile horses for legendary trainer Gordon Elliott at Aintree.
He was scheduled to be on board Grand National contender Three Card Brag.
But Kennedy will now also miss the iconic race in Merseyside, and the upcoming spring festivals at Fairyhouse and Punchestown.
Trainer Elliott confirmed the frustrating news:”Jack will be out until the end of the season, but he’s our first jockey and as soon as he’s back he’ll be back riding all the horses.”
It marks the second time in three years that Kennedy has missed the Grand National through injury.
Davy Russell stepped in form him during last year’s festival at the legendary racecourse.
Despite the frustration of another enforced break for thr young jockey, he will be given all the time he needs to recover fully before returning to action.
