The Simpsons: Tapped Out has been brought back to life, albeit unofficially, with a new public server opening in beta. This is being done by fans for fans, as many have been longing to return to their own personal Springfields ever since the game permanently shut down at the beginning of the year. It’s unclear what exactly this new server means for The Simpsons: Tapped Out or how long it will last, but fans can now once again set characters on tasks, collect items, and build their personal Springfield on their mobile devices.
