A DAD who appeared on Channel 5 show The Accused has been jailed for murdering his daughter – 11 years after he violently shook her.
Kyle Kitchen, 37, attacked eight-week-old Primrose Kane on November 3, 2014, leaving her with severe brain damage.

She tragically died six years after the horror on May 17, 2021, following years of living in constant agony.
Kitchen was charged with Primrose’s murder while already serving an 18-year sentence for assaulting her.
He has now been jailed for life with a minimum of 17 years after he was convicted of the charge following a trial.
Kitchen previously appeared on Channel 5 documentary The Accused, which centred around Primrose Ivy’s mum, Kenzey Kane.
He was arrested for attacking her while she held Primrose in a row over the baby crying.
The Old Bailey heard the couple’s relationship was “frequently volatile”
Kane was previously jailed for causing or allowing serious injury to a child by failing to protect her daughter from Kitchen.
In November 2014, the killer dad either vigorously shook or hit Primrose Kane with a hard object when she was eight weeks old.
He called 111 to report that Primrose had gone “floppy” and would not wake up after making odd movements and sounds in the night.
Kitchen also claimed the baby had blood around her nose and was not breathing.
Primrose was rushed to hospital where medics found she had suffered serious brain injuries and a fractured skull that left her disabled.
When quizzed about the horror, mum Kane said: “It’s not like we knocked her or anything.”
Primrose’s quality of life was described as “very low” and a do-not-resuscitate order was implemented in 2016.
Following the attack, she was placed into the care of her maternal grandmother and went to a special school in London.
Although she suffered with cerebral palsy, feeding issues, an inability to communicate verbally and drug-resistant epilepsy, teachers described her as “characterful”.
On May 17, 2021, Primrose’s gran woke up to find the youngster’s normally noisy and laboured breathing had stopped.
A post mortem found her death was a result of the traumatic head injury inflicted on her as a baby.
