MET Eireann has pinpointed exactly where the best of the warm temperatures will hit over the coming days as sunshine continues.
Temperatures could hit as high as 21 this week, and while weather bosses have warned of some rain to fall over tomorrow evening and night, it will be a minimal amount.

Temperatures are set to soar to a whopping 21C on Friday[/caption]
Cathal Nolan of Ireland’s Weather Channel said the next two weeks is “likely to be very dry” as high pressure pushes over Ireland.
He explained: “It has been very dry and indeed looking ahead for the next two weeks there’s no real sign of any significant rainfall, other than the chance of a couple of showers pushing into the south and southeast of the country.
“Mostly on Thursday night and very early on Friday.
“Thursday and Friday themselves for most of the country two dry days as well with good sunny spells likely for the majority.”
Accompanying dry weather today will be summery temperatures of 12C to 18C and sunny spells.
However, despite the nice day today is set to get chillier later on tonight, with temperatures plunging to almost freezing.
Met Eireann warn: “Tonight will remain dry and mostly clear in just light easterly or variable winds.
“Chilly in places though with lowest temperatures of 1C to 6C.”
Thursday will be dry and sunny but weather bosses warn it will be “a little bit breezier”.
However, despite breezier conditions temperatures will still sit between 12C to 19C, with 20C temperatures possible in certain places.
Met Eireann advised: “With highs tomorrow of 12C to 19C or possibily 20C.
“Warmest again across west and northwest counties.”
Counties in this region that could be facing those 20C temperatures tomorrow include Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Leitrim and Roscommon.
Cavan, Donegal and Monaghan may also see temperatures hit the 20s.
However, later in the evening rain will move in across the country, feeding up from southern counties.
But rainfall amounts will be minimal, Alan O’Reilly of Carlow Weather promised.
The weather expert said: “A stunning morning and a great Wednesday ahead.
“Latest Met Eireann ensembles show less than 5mm of rain for most Thursday night into Friday morning but over 5mm possible near South and Southeast coast.”
21C WEEKEND
Friday will see some “residual rain” early on but it will mostly clear to yet another dry and sunny day.
Temperatures during the day on Friday could reach a scorching 21C in some places.
Met Eireann advise this is most likely in the west where it will be “the warmest”.
Despite the soaring temperatures during the day, they will fall back down to 1C overnight.
But this will be accompanied by further clear and dry weather.
For the rest of the weekend Met Eireann said: “Temperatures will fall back a little with some cold and clear nights.
“However, it will be dry, sunny and very pleasant by day with no more than moderate easterly winds.”
