Vince McMahon Doesn’t Want to See a Nasty Real Life Fight of Paige After Someone Calls Natalya the N-Word

When you talk about Women’s wrestling, there is no way you can leave out Paige. Very few WWE stars had such a rapid ascent in the promotion as she did.

Paige started her journey by becoming the WWE Divas champion on her debut at RAW after WrestleMania 30. After the initial success, she didn’t just sit around, Paige went on to join the famous reality show WWE Total Divas.

During her time at the show, she gifted numerous memorable moments to her fans, but they were deprived of witnessing maybe what could have been her greatest WWE moment because of Vince McMahon.

What made Paige lose her cool and attack a fellow diva in front of her boyfriend?

Paige recently shared an incident from her days at WWE Total Divas, which only a few WWE fans know about. Speaking to Joe Vulpis on the Lightweights Podcast, she opened up on the time she demolished a girl at the reality show for calling WWE star Natalya the N-word.

She also revealed that though the producers loved the fight, they hesitated to air it, as Paige was considered one of the biggest babyfaces in the promotion at that point.

“There was a scene that didn’t air because I got into a physical fight over her. I headbutted this chick because I was younger and out of my mind. We were at Fandango’s house party, and this girl came over.”

“She was drunk and just trying to make everything about her, you know? She called Nattie the N-bomb, and I was like, ‘What the f*ck]?’ Then she started talking a bunch of [sh*t], and I just snapped.”

Paige then went on to reveal how the girl’s boyfriend rushed towards her but one of the producers, who she claimed was a big girl, stepped in and carried the girl’s boyfriend out of the apartment on her shoulder and Paige continued smacking the girl.

Did Vince McMahon stop Paige’s real-life fight from being telecasted?

Many WWE fans later regretted not being able to witness such a rare and historic Paige moment, some were quick to point the finger at Vince McMahon for the missed opportunity.

In the interview, Paige revealed the actual reason behind the producers opting not to air the scene, despite them loving the bout.

“We couldn’t air it, especially since it was my first episode, and I was physically beating someone up. It was crazy,” she continued. “She even broke my sandals! I really liked those sandals. While I was fighting her, they snapped, and I was just like, ‘Shoes! This b*tch!’ The producers were like, ‘We need to get out of here!’ So they got me in a car and out of there.”

Though she never took any names, fans later claimed that it was actually Vince McMahon who was against the telecasting of this scene. This decision was not completely baseless, as Paige was being considered as a major babyface back then, and a video of her beating up a girl for real would have completely destroyed that persona.
