As Us Weekly exclusively reported on Monday, March 31, sources revealed that the Euphoria actress and her fiancé Jonathan Davino called off their nuptials, which were set for this spring. (Us has since confirmed that the pair have completely pulled the plug on their relationship altogether.)
When she hit the red carpet on Tuesday to promote her forthcoming film, The Housemaid, at CinemaCon, Sweeney, 27, wasn’t wearing her 4-carat round-cut brilliant diamond engagement ring, estimated to be worth $150,000, though her silver metallic Wiederhoeft dress was nothing short of dazzling.
The bridal and demi-couture brand has been described as “the high priest of corsets.” Sweeney’s look was plucked right off the Spring 2025 runway. Rendered in gleaming silk satin with metal-boned construction and lace-up corsetry, the curve-skimming silhouette put her enviable figure front and center. She doubled down on the high-shine statement in the label’s matching ankle-length skirt, equipped with a low-rise belt and a back slit cut up to there.

Last month, the actress sparked rumors that there was trouble in paradise when she deleted an Instagram of herself kissing Davino, 41, snapped over the holidays as the couple ushered in 2025.

As sources exclusively shared with Us Weekly on Wednesday, March 26, most of their issues leading up to their split, which came after seven years of dating, surrounded Sweeney’s packed production schedule, which demanded she give her “full attention” to her film and TV projects.
The details recalled an interview Sweeney gave to Cosmopolitan in February 2022. “I don’t date actors or musicians or anyone in entertainment because I can just be normal Syd that way, and it’s easiest,” she said. “ I have people who will battle for me and allow me to be on the pedestal and shine without making me feel like, ‘Oh no, I’m shining too bright, and I need to step back.’”
