Monday, Tahoe National Forest fire resources along with Sierra County Sheriff’s Office, CHP – Quincy and Sierra County Fire responded to a two vehicle collision on Highway 49. A vehicle traveling down hill had lost control, colliding head on with oncoming traffic. Three patients were transported to area hospitals with serious injuries.
